These two are great sellers in their own right, Cena of course makes Lesnar look good but Lensar actually does sell Cena's blows quite nicely. One criticism that I could give of this match is that Cena's hold on Lesnar went on for too long and maybe Cena shouldn't have been dominating for as long as he was. |

Inhaltlich okay muss der Herausforderer aus auf Angles Titel sogar einen Schlag mit Cenas Stahlkette einstecken, denn der hat sich den Spitznamen 'Chain Gang Commander' nicht selbst ausgedacht, oder? NFL beiseite ist da ein wenig Pfeffer drin, aber nicht so viel, dass man das hart abfeiern müsste. |

Brock Lesnar was aggressive and dominant for most of the match, but John Cena managed to put up a fight, through the illegal use of a chain, and thus evened the match up at times. However, this was not enough and Brock Lesnar deservedly took the victory. I think they both came out of this match pretty well. |

Cena tries to take him out by cheating with a chain covered fist, then attempts to choke him out when that fails. The highlight is Brock's crazy show of strength and agility where he charges Cena in to two opposite turnbuckles to release his grip on the rear naked choke. Another effective match that put Brock over in a big way without making Cena look bad. |

The result is never in question. Brock dominates and Cena is only able to take control after hitting Lesnar with a chain behind the referee's back. Cena using Angle's scissored sleeper to wear down Lesnar was a neat touch, but I'm less than pleased about Cena's extremely obvious spot-calling as he works the hold. I always assumed that he only started doing that when he was a main eventer that was untouchable and I didn't realize he was doing it as early as 2003. Lesnar looked like a monster and Cena showed promise, so this did what it set out to do. |

Die Matchansetzung ist frisch. Lesnar als frühes Beast, Cena als rappender Street Fighter, der dann auch mal die Kette für einen tollen Nearfall benutzt. Ansonsten haben wir Lesnar, der on top wirkt und Cena, dessen einzige Chance zwischendurch noch ein Sleeper Hold war. Beide sind fähige Worker, so ist das Gezeigte in den paar Minuten solide, aber im Gesamtvergleich mit allen Matches "nur" Durchschnitt. **½ |
