[7.0] "The match has some good sequences, starting with Michaels and Jericho, as well as Umaga's positive portrayal. Even JBL, who is eliminated early on, comes across as convincing. In the end, however, it's always the same old story, because Helmsley is as invincible as ever and, together with Michaels, he once again turns the whole thing into juice overkill. Once Michaels is out, the tension evaporates, because in addition to the IC gold, Hardy is unlikely to be called upon to achieve anything greater yet."

I didn't really like Umaga's contribution during the match, but his character still looked strong so why not. I don't think the match told much stories, JBL chairs moment was good, same as Hardy's swanton bomb from the pod. The rapid fire elimination was a questionable decision, it felt rushed. Triple H win didn't feel very special or hype aswell. Fine to watch overall, but nothing really exciting."

Obviously, Triple H gets the win, which is only right. ***3/4+"

[8.0] "That was an awesome match. A lot of fun to watch again. I think the timing is interesting because it was over five minutes less than the Chamber match from earlier in the show, but if you compare the two matches this one was a lot better. There was a lot more drama in this match with believable nearfalls throughout the match, they told interesting stories with everybody since JBL did a cheap attack after losing, it took a lot to get rid of Umaga, quick eliminations of Jericho and Michaels followed by a memorable final two sequence with Triple H and Hardy. I thought Hardy was going to win after he kicked out of that first Pedigree. I think the crowd thought Hardy was going to win too, which is why they were so excited when he hit that low blow and nearly won. The ending was good because it wasn't just a Pedigree - it was a final Pedigree on the chair, which was enough to put Hardy away."

Then they all work together to take him out. It would have been better for Jeff to win the match as the crowd was really behind him at this time."

Shawn bleeds the whole match and death taxes and HHH winning lol"

[6.0] "A good chamber match but not a particularly exciting one in many of its respective parts; felt most involved could've offered a lot more if it was structured differently, especially in its last third. The opening with Shawn & Jericho and Umaga's involvement in the match was my favorite stuff. I thought it was a missed opportunity not to have Umaga run amuck doing cool stuff and destroying everyone after he provided the crowd's peak reaction when he delivered a hip attack to Jericho breaking the plexiglass. Instead, they used that momentum to sprint through the last third of the match as the crowd was receptive to most stuff after becoming so hyped from Umaga's spot. It was a terrible call to have Jeff Hardy the most over wrestler in the match low blow hhh; the crowd didn't want to boo him so some just fell silent and it led to an awkward reaction to the finish. Everyone involved did well, it was the layout of the match that I had my biggest gripe with. ***1/4"

[7.0] "Much better than the first Elimination Chamber since this one had an actual star power all around with almost all guys being believable title contenders. They set up the dynamics between some competitors and had some nice spots prepared. They pushed the rivalry between JBL and Jericho a little further, made Umaga look like a monster again and Hardy had an incredible performance here, getting the people behind him and making them believe that he can pull it off."

Michaels and Jericho start off with some truly great stuff, and things get unhinged once Umaga enters. MIchaels juices of course. Action really picks up with Triple H's entry and its nonstop through JBL's elimination. Unprotected chair shots and juice for everyone. Jeff Hardy is of course amazing in this match- one of the few times you see a pedigree kicked out of. Overall one of the better chamber matches."

[6.0] "Great match, i enjoyed it a lot. Was almost a unpredictable bouth, Michaels, Jericho, Hunter and even Hardy could've won it. It started awesome with Shawn and Chris battling in sequences where they finally tied with a brutal X that leave Michaels with a broken nose, and i think he was the MVP of the match along side Triple H, Shawn bumped a lot and endure hard offensive from Bradshaw and Umaga, 2 heavy hitters. Jeff was so over this night and made a great performance by getting desperate when he was on the final 2, and surviving a FN pedigree, that was coo. Hunter was another great performer, just by enter understood the strategy to survive and was kinda tooking advantage when their rivals were distracted, cool. The other 3 were a good mixed, they looked fine. I didn't like that the chamber ended so abruptly with quick eliminations, i would have loved a more enduring finish. ***1/4"

[6.0] "For the majority of this match, this was a 7 point match to me, but the last handful of minutes made me rethink and lower by a point. First, the rapid fire eliminations were a bad call to me. JBL already felt like filler, but a newly returned Jericho and Shawn Michaels should have felt like a bigger deal being eliminated. In fact, Umaga was the most protected during this string, and his stock had already dropped prior to this match. He was honestly the most overall impressive. Michaels and Jericho both worked hard, but were eliminated with no fan fare at all and were just brushed aside. It really felt like this should have just been another 1 vs 1 between Triple H and Hardy. Then the second aspect. I think the wrong man perhaps won this one. I say perhaps, because I'm not sure if Hardy would have enough drawing power to be alone in a world title match at Wrestlemania, but if the plan was already to make it a triple threat match, why not let Hardy win here, find another way for Triple H to get involved, and make it a fatal 4 way at Wrestlemania? The crowd has been DYING to see Hardy at the top for several months now. I think it was worth a risk if you had other stars anyway. They STILL try and protect him by having him kick out of a Pedigree, which was pretty shocking, but it ended too quickly after. He should have had a comeback. Like my complaint in the Hardy vs. Triple H match the month before, Jeff just doesn't feel like he has any fight. At this point in his career, he should be pushing his opponents to the limits if he's this over and not going to win. Instead, both of these matches, he feels 'less than.' This was a very interesting Chamber match, but it was very, very poorly paced, and I don't think the booking was very good. A fun match, but one with a lot of problems and questionable decisions."

[9.0] "This is an awesome Elimination Chamber match that features a great lineup of competitors. Everybody brought a good amount of aggression and there was plenty of blood by the end, which helps to make the stipulation feel dangerous and is something that is really lacking from the Chamber matches that follow this one (this is the last Elimination Chamber match before the company would make the move to PG programming). Umaga looked like a monster and was one of my favourite parts of the match. The final sequence with Jeff Hardy and Triple H was really exciting, but I thought the low blow spot was very unnecessary and easily the weakest part of the match. I didn't see any reason to have a babyface Jeff Hardy cheat so blatantly, and even more confusing was that Triple H completely no sold it anyway? Strange and stupid spot in what was otherwise a really entertaining Elimination Chamber."

Umaga put in a hell of a performance tho Ill say that. Ofc triple h won in the end beating the younger Jeff hardy lol. Also not a fan of the rapid fire eliminations felt very rushed like if the match was short on time or something. Good match although likely wont match up to youre expectations of it goijg in 3.75/5"

[8.0] "This wasn't the greatest Elimination Chamber match ever, but it was very good. Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho started off pretty well (they always had great chemistry), but things really started to pick up when Umaga came in. He was one of the most impressive parts of this match, with a really cool double Samoan Drop on Jericho and Michaels. The real star of this match, however, was Jeff Hardy. He was absolutely the most over wrestler here, and he was pulling off some great spots (such as the Swanton Bomb off the top of one of the pods). The eliminations really happened one after the one at one point, and then we get the Triple H vs Jeff Hardy showdown at the end. Triple H won but Jeff looked REALLY strong, having kicked out of the Pedigree. A really fast-paced and well-structured Elimination Chamber."

The best man in this match was Jeff Hardy but unfortunately, he wasn't in here for long because they decided to eliminate everyone once he entered.JBL attacking everyone with chairs once he got eliminated was funny. The ending stretch of Hardy vs Triple H was really good with Jeff even being able to kick out of pedigree. This would've been a bit better if they had paced the eliminations better.****"

Loved it so much as a kid, and thought it was the greatest thing I have ever seen, and now, while it is still a good match, obviously is not that great. The story of Jeff Hardy in this match was always cool, and it really kickstarted the push for him in 2008, also leading into 2009. Jericho and HBK were great in this match too, with Michaels being the easy MVP. He bumped for everyone in this. Triple H winning was cool, but it probably should? ve been Jeff. Fun match, with some nice momentum heading into Mania 24. ****1/4"

[6.0] "The match got off to a really rough start with Michaels and Jericho starting the match. I like both guys, and their feud that comes later in the year, but their 5 minutes did not get things off to a hot start. It was quite unremarkable. There was a random chop exchange and a few other bits but there was no spark which is what the first two guys are supposed to do. Umaga did some good big man stuff. He kept it simple and sold really well for everyone. JBL didn't do much but him laying out everyone with chairs after he got eliminated was awesome. The end stretch with Jeff Hardy and HHH was solid as well. Hardy kicking out of the first pedigree was surprising. The crowd popped big expecting that to be it. However HHH blew off a Hardy low blow far too easily after that (which is normally a guaranteed transition of control) so that was annoying. But the match turned into something good in the end though. Perhaps not as good as it should've been. ***"

[8.0] "Definitely a good match overall. Funny enough the guys I had the most fun watching were JBL and Umaga, who were the first two out, but what can you do. Less a fan of the final stretch, really from when Triple H entered it felt like the match was mainly centered around making him look strong, with only a token gesture to the extremely popular Jeff Hardy at the end."

[8.0] "A very good elimination chamber match but honestly I don't think it's all it's cracked up to be. Sure, there are great spots such as the double submission on Umaga, the hip splash on Jericho and the pod and the swanton from the pod, but everything after the 20 min mark just seems a little rushed. I think 3 eliminations in the matter of a minute is a bit overkill, but then again, everything else on the show was slow paced as f**k so given the context it was nice to see a fast paced match for a change. Hardy isn't as over with the fans as I thought he'd be which hurts the ending dynamic a little bit but definitely not the ending as a whole, it's a f**king great ending with some great near falls and the memorable spot of the pedigree on the chair to end it. MOTN by far ****"

JBL was bringing a chair in felt cheap to me, I don? t know why, I just hated when it was used in the finish. Overall this is a really great Elimination Chamber I highly recommend you to watch ****1/2."

The ending gets super-spammy with finishers, which works within the context of this match. I feel that a match like this can be a bit over-the-top and it's actually beneficial, and this works well within the confines of that. HHH wins, because of course he does, but it makes sense. A fun, brisk ride. ****1/4."
