[6.0] "This was a good match. The story of going into this match was who was more dominant in TNA, Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair, with Eric Bischoff split on who's side he was truly on. Rob Van Dam had beaten James Storm in the opening match of the PPV to gain the advantage in Lethal Lockdown. I'll admit that as people were coming into the ring, but when Sting came in, the action did pick up. Speaking of which, Jeff Hardy was supposed to come in before Sting, but he was attacked by Sting in the back with his signature baseball bat, leaving Team Hogan in a 4 on 3 disadvantage. Jeff did eventually come out, beating down both James Storm and Robert Roode with a kendo stick. He also had the best spot of the match, climbing a ladder on top of a cage to put Storm through a table. Then Ric Flair came out to attack Abyss and try to take the Hall of Fame ring from him. Hulk Hogan ended up coming out and threatened to use a bat against Flair. Eric Bischoff then came out to break it up and reveal a pair of brass knuckles. He teased giving it to Flair, but ended up giving it to Hogan. Hogan then beat on Flair with them and Flair bladed, then took a bump onto thumbtacks. Abyss then gave a Black Hole Slam to Desmond Wolfe and pinned him to win the match. The finish proved a few things. First, that this match was all about Hogan, Flair and Bischoff, which really bogged down the finish and made several of the guys in the match feel lesser than. Second, it doesn't matter which company they were in, Hogan will almost always go over on Flair, even if it's through other wrestlers. Third, that Wolfe taking the fall felt like a metaphor for where the powers that be though of him in terms of his placement on the card, a card he slowly went downwards of by the fall of 2010. Still, I'm not going to take away from the work that the wrestlers tried to put into this match. It just didn't have a good finish. ***1/4"

[4.0] "This was not great. Firstly the psychology is all over the place with the babyface team always getting the numbers advantage until the last entrant. They also have not really established these guys as proper factions for the crowd to care about. The key to these matches if keeping it interesting until everyone is in but they do not really manage it. Then it is a big plunder brawl as you wait for whoever is going to do the big spot on the top of the cage. The melodrama with Hogan and Flair actually amused me to be fair."

[5.0] "18/04/10 Lockdown TNA. A tough match to rate as it was all over the place. It was really like 3 matches in 1. Mostly forgettable with a few good moments, some of the gimmicks were built up well but then fell flat, like the tacks and the table on the cage. 5*"

[4.0] "A mostly awful match saved by a brief flurry of craziness by Jeff Hardy. This was a lot of sloppy, lackadaisical, and disorganized brawling for the most part, with nary an interesting spot until Hardy shows up. Hardy has a cool dive off a ladder through a table, made even more risky by the ladder being on top of the cage. Then the ending revolves around Hogan and Flair while everyone else in the match become afterthoughts. This was a 30 minute match that dragged and would have benefitting from better structuring."
