[7.0] "This was a good I Quit match between Mack and Moose here, certainly a much more different match than any I Quit match we've seen in the past, probably because it was the first time a match like this had taken place in an empty arena. I think it was a really risky gamble on the part of the promotion to give Willie Mack & Moose twenty-six long minutes in the main event of an exclusive event like this, all in such a complicated stipulation in front of absolutely nobody. But in the end, I think they did well. Obviously the match is too long and it's hard not to want to skip moments sometimes but overall it's still a solid main event with a strong storytelling, a brutal Moose and a resilient Mack, the two matched well and delivered the match everyone expected from them after months of rivalry. Moose's spot through the table on the outside was absolutely insane, Mack's spot on the chairs too. Moose's only goal was to get his title-shot against Swann so the finish was really smart, I really loved the originality of this ending and the acting of Swann & Moose was top notch. Really cool stuff to end this show."

The match built up slowly but very nicely, and while the referee was a bit hyperactive in the early going I thought it nicely juxtaposed how later in the match Moose in particular didn't even want the referee to ask anymore. And man this was brutal at times! From the way they slugged it out with huge walloping fists to when things escalated even further, that Sky High through the table on the floor was absolutely insane. The ending was very story driven but I thought it worked perfectly. Moose showed me in this match that he might be the best he's ever been, but even more I was captivated by the performance of Willie Mack, which was nothing short of brilliant. That man deserves a world title run before all is said and done."

[7.0] "A brutal, hard hitting match that lived up to the idea of an I Quit match, but was handicapped by the lack of crowd noise and the commentary. Moose and Willie Mack worked damn hard, though, and it was a good old fashioned hoss fight that made you believe this was a blood feud and a match that both men were desperate to win, by any means necessary. There were a lot of good spots, including that terrifying table spot which maybe I could have done without given how close it seemed to killing Willie, but it was impressive all the same. I also give credit to one of the more interesting I Quit match finishes I've seen in some time, as Moose willingly quitting once he'd gotten the title shot from Swann? A really nice twist, and one I don't remember seeing recently. I wish this match had had a crowd and a better desk to call it, as it might have been an all-timer."

The lack of a crowd to get behind Mack was also damaging to the match as a whole. Both wrestlers are good and did a good job with the match thankfully never really devolving into "garbage" style hardcore match. However, what saved this match from its poor pacing was the excellent unexpected yet perfectly logical finish setting up a future match between Moose and Swann."

"My rating for this match is 7. 5/10. A couple of spots of this match were pretty exciting especially this one on the table but the ending of this match wasn't that good. Generally, though the match was pretty good."

This match showed this new vicious side of Moose however they used the microphone "I quit" check after every single action for 5 minutes, then nothing after that. I also did not like the ending at this time even though it does leave things to be brought back later if Moose wins the Impact championship. **3/4"

The finish was fine and protected both men, but very anticlimactic. You can skip this one, there's better things to do with almost 30 minutes of your day."

Brutal action, neither man relenting even after big spots, and then Moose causing Rich Swann to come out and offer up a title shot to protect his friend was awesome. "Thank You, I Quit" was a line delivered so well and is just great storytelling and professional wrestling."

[8.0] "What. A. Match. Willie Mack showed why he's such a great underdog babyface, and Moose was absolutely relentless. From the top of the match, this felt like two men that hated one another. There were some wicked spots through the match, with one in particular that could have ended the career of one or both men. Most of all, I love the finish. Moose only wanted a title shot, but he hadn't fully earned one. He didn't care about winning the match at all. This was to send a message to Rich Swann, and he definitely did that. That's some great long term storytelling. Excellent match, and it shows Willie Mack can potentially be a main event player too"

[6.0] "One of the more interesting I Quit finishes I can recall - Moose had Willie Mack pretty much dead, and was about to Pillmanise him when Rich Swann tried to get him to stop. Nothing worked until Swann offered Moose what he wanted, a shot at the Impact World Title, so Moose won by losing. Decent stuff here, but it took a bit long to get to where it needed to be."
