[9.0] "Holy shit, what a match, a true hidden gem. I honestly expected this match to be good, but I didn't expect it to be THIS good! Every sequence, every spot and moment was near perfection."

[8.0] "A really good 3-on-3 with a star-studded lineup in which each of the participants had time to prove themselves. The Bulldogs, who returned after almost half a year and were already smoothly approaching the final split, were given a very warm welcome. The dropkick from the top rope by Kobashi to Fuchi, who was lifted by Davey Boy with one hand, and the final powerslam were very impressive."

[6.0] "This was a good match. Everyone had a chance to shine with the standout for me being Doug Furnas doing his drop-down, leapfrog, leapfrog, dropkick spot. Awesome dropkick and he gets major height on his leapfrog. Bulldogs and Kobashi finish it with a top rope power slam by Davey Boy Smith."

[8.0] "In the realm of AJPW 6-man tags this is far down the list but it's still a really good time and it's always good to the Bulldogs in Japan"

[7.0] "The Bulldogs/Can-Am match from the 1989 RWTL did not make broadcast, but this buildup six-man tag would later see release on Samurai TV, and I'm glad it did. While far from an essential match as far as AJPW 6-mans go, this is an entertaining twenty minutes that reflects much better on the Bulldogs than a large amount of their AJPW work does. Their work against the Can-Am Express feels like they have something to prove against them. This isn't 1989 Kobashi's best work, but I continue to find his energy and effort endearing, and Fuchi plays his sadist card on him effectively. ***1/2"
