[4.0] "If only Riggs wasn't so bland it would have been much better, because Bagwell was such a great, unbearable heel. His constant trash talk, searching for the camera and willingness to make a fool out of himself when he had to... A lot of it reminded me of prime Luger. Still, he was the only bright spot here, because nobody cared about Scotty."
[4.0] "The American Males explode! yet no one seems to care. Bagwell is perfectly adept in getting the crowd to hate him as he obnoxiously mugs for the camera at every turn. Riggs doesn't have the charisma for a singles run, in my opinion. Strap matches are lame by definition. But especially when Bagwell is involved."
[2.0] "I would actually recommend this one to anyone who hates Buff Bagwell's entire wrestling career as much as I do - for the sole reason that you get to see him getting hit in the groin a total of six times. Other than that, it's one of the worst stipulations in general circulation in wrestling (a strap match) featuring 2 guys who are limited and whom no one cares about. Most of the run time is either strap choking or Buff mugging for the camera."
[3.0] "The blowoff to a feud that nobody cares about. standard strap match. Touch all four corners to win. Bagwell is such a goof and a camera hound. Bagwell controls most of the match choking out Riggs and talking to the camera. Riggs rallies but gets backdropped over the ropes and hanged which KO's him. Bagwell touches all four corners while dragging the dead weight Riggs around. Lousy even for a strap match."
[3.0] "An old-school touch the four corners strap match in theory, in practice it was Buff Bagwell putting himself over with repeated mid-match promos while absolutely burying his former partner. Not good."
[4.0] "Much more of a comedy match, and there are some funny moments, but the in-ring work was largely forgettable. Riggs took a bump on the apron which sounded brutal, though."
[5.0] "This was ok, nothing special. I never saw too much in either of these guys, Bagwell would eventually show some charisma but was never much in the ring and quickly became annoying in any major role, whereas Riggs was solid but dull."
[3.0] "This wasn't a good match because none of them are good workers. The gimmick made it a bit more interesting. I can't understand the booking of this match though and why did Buff had to go over after burying Scotty for so many weeks, he needed to get his comeuppance. **3/4"
