Dakota Kai vs. Rhea Ripley

The ending was relatively telegraphed considering the situation set up for the match in addition to the fact that NXT has seemingly become more focused on Raquel compared to Dakota which is a shame for Dakota and not meant to be a slight against Raquel. There was good work here and I? m sure these two would have a really great match with a higher platform to perform on like a Takeover"

[10.0] "A very good and finely paced match that I really liked. Rhea is for sure one of the best women wrestlers in the world and her selling is top notch . I also love how dakotahad some very good and innovative moves like that back stabber that I love every time she hits it. Dakota worked on the arm during the start of the match however it did not seem to play much of a role but it was good work and technique. Things slowed down once Raquel showed up and distracted Rhea who was off game for the moment until Rhea connected with the Avalanche riptide to win the match . A good match which could have been even better if it had more content."

[6.0] "A decent match between these two skilled women, with interesting moves. I liked Dakota the most and I was hoping she would win but not everything is perfect."

[7.0] "There were good, bad and average moments during this match. Dakota botched one of the moves in the beginning. I loved Rhea's submission before Gonzalez showed up. However, my favourite spot was when Dakota dida that modified Canadian Destroyer Backcracker. It was awesome. After the match was finished things got wild and ridiculous. There was a brawl between these girls. 20 men could not separate and drag them away from each other. What a joke..."

[5.0] "OK match but it served more as a backdrop for Rhea's feud with Raquel than anything meaningful on its own. I don't think it was a good idea to book this match though considering how they are presenting Rhea. You can clearly see she is no taller than Dakota Kai, and it puts a dent in the badass aura they are trying to create around her when you see she is only slightly above average height."

[7.0] "A very nice and entertaining match for TV. It was more competitive than I expected, which is a good thing, considering how good Dakota is and how overlooked she is. Rhea and her have great chemistry, as demonstrated in other matches like that great one back in July. I wouldn't say this was better but definitely entertaining. ***1/4"

[5.0] "Super obvious finish especially when Raquel came out and it didn't instantly result in a win for Dakota the drama was killed. The action was pretty solid and it worked to build to the Raquel match but I'm just not really feeling Dakota at this point."

[7.0] "Raquel Gonzalez was brought in to be Dakota Kai's heater, and given what company they're in, of course Gonzalez ended up becoming a bigger star. That's how Kai was treated in this one, as just a nuisance for Rhea Ripley to get through to get to Gonzalez, which is a shame because the match was as good as it was because of Kai controlling the pace and hitting her creative offense. Seemed certain with Gonzalez banned from ringside that Ripley would win this one following her loss to Toni Storm last week."
