[8.0] "An action packed match showcasing the American Wolves' vicious strategy, with Bryan Danielson stepping in for El Generico. A heated bout with intense storytelling and effective heel tactics."
[8.0] "This was an awesome match. The American Wolves are one of the best tag teams to come out of ROH. Kevin Steen teamed with Bryan Danielson. Danielson was a replacement for El Generico, who was off ROH due to an injury. This was an all action style of match. Very little, if any, wrestling holds were used here, just a few submissions. Great stuff here. ****1/4"

[9.0] "There were a few awkward miscommunication moments, but I loved the story in this match and how incredibly vicious the American Wolves are. The match starts out heated with Steen and Danielson attacking the Wolves before they even get into the ring, but soon the Wolves put Steen through a table and isolate Danielson in the ring, making frequent tags and doing a number on Bryan's leg. What's great is that every time Steen gets on the apron to try to make a tag, the Wolves immediately run to the corner and knock him off the apron. This happened multiple times to the point that (commentator) Dave Prazak seemed to be amused by it. There are loads of tag matches where the heels get heat on the face in the ring, but this was a tag match where the heels were constantly getting heat on both the face in the ring AND the face on the apron. When Steen eventually does make the hot tag, he looks noticeably beat up and isn't able to attack with the same level of fire he normally does, showcasing how effective the Wolves' strategy is. Bryan continues to do an excellent job selling the leg and it eventually catches up with him when Edwards traps him in the Achilles Lock and he submits. The way Edwards torqued the hold and the way Danielson howled in pain made the move seem torturous. This match made the Wolves look like absolute killers as they always seemed to be one step ahead of their opponents."
