Bam Bam Bigelow vs. The 1-2-3 Kid

These two put up a great fight in their tag team match at Saturday Night Slam, so I was looking forward to this match as well. Kidd, who was the golden boy in 1994, and Bigelow, the most skilled big man in history, showed great chemistry again."

[6.0] "For the time it got, this was a pretty good match. Bam Bam Bigelow wasn't always utilized the way he should have been, but he was part of some big spots during his time in WWE. 1-2-3 Kid was a one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE during this time period, he was always over. This was in build up to the WWE tag team championship match at the Royal Rumble, and this the classic underdog vs monster style match. Bigelow didn't doing his diving headbutt or his moonsault, as he was supposed to do all the power spots. Kid was the one who would fly in the air here, which cost him when he went for a dive and Bigelow slammed him for the win. Good match, but if they went longer, it could have been great. ***1/4"

[7.0] "This was a really good pairing and they showed some fine chemistry here. Waltman's bumping is excellent and he makes Bigelow look like a monster. There's some great stuff in here like Bigelow doing a cannonball into the corner and Kid powerbombing Bigelow off the top rope. Very good match."
