[4.0] "uninteresting match. misawa can't be bothered. mutoh is not very good. ogawa is his usual self. When Taiyo Kea is the most interesting person in the match, it isn't a good sign."

[6.0] "This match was simple, the ace of AJPW in the 90s and the current president of Noah VS the ace of NJPW in the 90s and the current AJPW president. Rivals of two companies in 90s and 2000s with a mix of ogawa and kea. This match however failed to keep up the hype and felt kinda slow in the end. It's still a great match"

[8.0] "The energy in this match is through the roof. The interactions between Mutoh and Misawa are clearly the highlight, and are a wrestling fan? s dream. Ogawa and Kea more than hold their own which results in a great tag match. Meltzer? s rating is a bit low for me. I? d personally go ****1/4 and just wish we had a few Mutoh vs Misawa single matches."

[8.0] "I loved the opening exchange between Misawa and Mutoh. I loved Ogawa teasing the tag to Misawa! He is a guy who gets wrestling. But realistically, this should have been a god damn 1 on 1 match between Misawa and Mutoh. No one really cares about Ogawa and even less of a fuck could be given for Taiyo Kea. Everything between Mutoh and Misawa has so much heat and they gel together so well but then it's lost every time Kea or Ogawa are in the ring, which is not their fault but just because people obviously want to see these two absolute stars go at it. So as the match progresses, the heat just dies down more and more. That being said, for the spectacle alone of Misawa and Mutoh and how solid their exchanges were, I give this 4 stars."

[7.0] "Let's be honest, this match was all about the spectacle of Misawa and Muto facing off. They wasted no time going straight for their finishers. I loved Misawa no selling the shining wizard and Muto busting out the Emerald Flowsion as a fuck you to Misawa was great too. Taiyo Kea was solid here and actually tried to add structure to this match, bless him. Ogawa as usual was just there. ***1/2"

[5.0] "At the time, a Misawa-Muto series of bouts was the freshest angle any company could take. For whatever reason nothing materialized afterwards. The crowd got to taste what might have been with the incredibly hot first minute the two were in the ring together. But afterwards neither legend went all out for each other or the match. In fact, unfortunately, this is a rather big mess as not only does Kea never make an impression but a lot of the spots in the second half just felt like a Zeppelin song, "Ramble on. ""

The match though revolved around Misawa & Mutoh and the crowd popped whenever they faced off and I liked their interactions especially Misawa's dive on Mutoh sending him into the crowd. The final few minutes though kinda killed it for me as it wasn't as energetic and exciting as the opening parts. Good overall though ***1/2."
