Heidenreich & Road Warrior Animal vs. Mercury & Nitro

[6.0] "Eh i thought this was fun with a hot crowd for Animal in particular - Credits for Mercury and Nitro for bumping for Animal/Heidenreich"

[4.0] "Very basic stuff here. Heidenreich takes most of the offense and then Animal gets the hot tag and goes on fire. But it was nice seeing Heidenreich get a big moment as i just find him super entertaining with all his mannerisms. But still, very standard wrestling here."

[4.0] "This is honestly probably the best match of Heidenreich's career. And that is NOT a good thing lol. This was pretty bad, though some good bumping from MNM at least gave it something positive. Reforming LOD post-Hawk seemed like a bad idea to start and this was an awful run."

[4.0] "A rather dull tag match catered solely to your emotions, even though those heartstrings should have been pulled the year prior at most if they were going to do this. It's what you'd expect. Heidenreich takes the heat spot until Animal gets the hot tag before the win. Not an offense tag match, but just absolutely nothing of note or value here unless you're the biggest LoD fan ever. Even still, not sure why Heidenreich was the choice to be with Animal."

[5.0] "It wasn't bad as MNM, especially Joey Mercury, worked like true pros here and knew how to cover Animal's and Heidenreich's weaknesses. They based the match around big moves and Joey with Johnny fleeing the ring a lot, which let both bigger guys look more legitimate. Also a nice little tribute to Hawk and Animal was still over here."

[4.0] "It wasn't the greatest of matches, but it's not offensively bad and at least the crowd was hyped for Animal and the title win was a nice feel good moment for him. Heidenreich just isn't very good and doesn't fit the role."

[3.0] "Very bland match with the Road Warrior name not really not needing to be revitalised with Heidenreich and a silly job for Mercury and Nitro to do."

[4.0] "Crowd was into it but it was a pretty slow match. Wasn't overly offensive but not worth a rewatch at all."

[3.0] "Mercury and Nitro tried their best but Animal was way past his best here and handicapped with his inadequate partner it did not feel like a good throwback to a Road Warriors match sadly"

[3.0] "The match was poor, which is expected any time Heidenreich is involved in a match. Even though it was bad to watch, the crowd was into the Animal/Heidenreich team a lot, so at least it made the crowd happy. Yes, the match sucked and Animal looked old when he was in there, but it was a cool moment that the crowd liked. Sometimes that's all that really matters. Bad stuff *1/2"
