Ahmed Johnson vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley

[4.0] "This match was a bit boring. Nothing really happened outside rest holds, which seems to be the norm in 1996. Ahmed does hit a mean spinebuster, however."

[5.0] "somehow I don't know. The name of the fight is promising, but in reality it did not work out very well. There were some good moments, but I missed out on that, plus there were a lot of inappropriate slaps and fuss."

[4.0] "They use up a lot of the time in rest holds but Ahmed still ends up getting blown up anyway. You can see they were really struggling during the last third, with Ahmed out on his feet and Helmsley having to waste time posturing, then Ahmed struggling to hit his finisher. The post match promo is hilarious with Ahmed referring to Dok Hendrix by his old ring name before correcting himself, and then proclaiming himself very proud to be "the first African American champion of the world"."
