[6.0] "It's a pretty entertaining match where the odds are stacked against Eddie. He pretty much bounces off Norton when he tries to dropkick him and then just gets thrown about like a ragdoll. Nick Patrick gets clattered and DDP helps his former rival and gets the Diamond Cutter and the best part was Eddie landing the Frog Splash and Nick Patrick reluctantly counting to three. DDP was ridiculously over here and watching a super heavyweight like Norton sell the Diamond Cutter like death is just amazing!"
[5.0] "Norton spent a lot of time tossing Eddie around like a ragdoll during this match. Eddie made a quick comeback, but collides with Patrick, allowing DDP to enter and give Norton the diamond cutter to help him win. DDP was so over during this era, it's crazy."
[5.0] "This is worse than Riggs vs. Enos, believe it or not. The saving grace in this match is the performance of Observer Non-Wrestler of the Year 1996 Nick Patrick."
[5.0] "The match worked for the storyline, with DDP's interference against the NWO making it clear he was a face, but the actual match was nothing special, just a standard skill vs power contest with a contrived ending."
[6.0] "Good, not great match here. It's a touch short for my liking but I think they both do good work here. Norton looks like a badass and Eddie is great as always."
[9.0] "I would actually say this is a GREAT short match, Eddie Guerrero is looking great in this one and Norton, I can't say enough about Scott Norton, one of the best and most underrated big guys ever. A clinic on size vs. speed that accomplishes tons in a short stretch."
