Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel vs. James Drake & Zack Gibson

[7.0] "I really liked this match . The gritty , nasty and stiff strike exchange between both teams was fantastic. There was visible tag team chemistry between both teams. There were loads of hard hitting moments . The moment where Zack pokes at Marcel's throat to disrupt oxygen flow and Marcel doing the same is nasty as fuck. Fabian showed his power and strength like where he grabs James mid - air and performs a brain buster on him . Fabian also got to show his athleticism towards the end where he springboards to the outside , that was magnificent and precise. The DQ finish takes a lot of the enjoyment away but I am sure a bout in the future maybe a takeover awaits us and it is going to tear the house down. By any means this was not a bad match but not good enough looking at their untapped potential . Still a good match , the best till now. ***3/4"

[7.0] "Thought it was really good, and I understand why they did the DQ given the prematch, but still to do after a long match leaves a sour taste in my mouth. But both teams worked very hard. Now I just need a reason to care about these teams."

[7.0] "The NXT tag team division has been in a lean period over the last year, but it may be starting to heat up now with the return of the Grizzled Young Veterans, the re-emergence of Imperium, and the upcoming team in Ever-Rise. Imperium jumped Ever-Rise to steal their match against GYV and they had a fun heel vs. heel match, when Ever-Rise put a stop to it. These three teams plus the Kings of NXT should help reinvigorate the tag ranks on Wednesday nights."
