[3.0] "What is this Raw ass match doing opening a big four PPV? Hilarious that something this uneventful ended up being the retirement match of the New Age Outlaws as a tag team especially because it did nothing for The Ascension who just aren't very good at all. Nothing interesting going on here at all, an absolute skip."

[2.0] "this was a match, i was surprised the accension won tho this match did nothing for them at all, atleast the match was short."

[6.0] "This is a fitting retirement/sendoff for the New Age Outlaws as this would be their final match together (and final match for Dogg). They put over the Ascension who as we now know didn't really make it, but at the time they had a promising future. The match was fine for what it was, although I would generally pick faster paced matches for PPV openers so it was hurt by placement on the card a bit"

[1.0] "Who thought this was a good idea to open this PPV with this match? An Old Aged Outlaws vs. The Ascension who are two jacked up killers who struggle to put away these grandpas and completely bore the crowd in the process. The Ascension gained absolutely nothing from this and became a joke and written off completely."

[6.0] "Can't really complain too much at this to be honest - obviously the ascension did not go on to be anything special, but it would have been worse if the new age outlaws had went over them. Ah well, it's only going to be rewatched along with the rest of the PPV"

[3.0] "would i go out of my way to watch it again? no i wouldnt but if i one day decide to rewatch this ppv i wouldn't be upset i have to watch it. is it the best match ive ever seen. Definitely not but it is serviceable with what they were giving to work with and is fine. I love ascensions finisher so much. But its just ok little to many rest holds. 1.25 stars"

[3.0] "The New Age Outlaws looked good here but the finish was awful. All that for a double team. The match was not good enough for a ppv either."

"Nostalgia match that started well enough but just didn't go anywhere. If they were trying to actually build the ascension don't have them beat up the whole time against the way over new age outlaws just to get a boring win out of nowhere."

[6.0] "I liked this match. Both teams shined. Billy Gunn was still a good wrestler at this moment. It was perfect to put The Ascension over."

Particularly short and slow match, 6 minutes that felt like15, against opponents who did not contribute to improve the specticularity of the match. The only consolation is that it could have been worse... for example, the Ascensions could have lost"
