The last two eliminations were admittedly class."

I liked Christian turning on Jericho, but the finish felt weird. Why was Booker's music playing? Why did Pat get up to hand him the title if the referee didn't say so? I don't know, they could have made it something else than Battle Royal if they were going to make it a Fatal 4 Way anyway."

[4.0] "The gimmick of bringing back the IC title in a match filled with all former IC champs (minus Booker at this time) was a really good idea. It made the match and the return of the belt feel special. The match itself was a pretty normal battle royal, but I do think it dragged on at the end. A couple of minutes could have been shaved off here and added to the other short matches each. The finish was incredibly dumb, and I'm conflicted on the booking. I understand why they went with Christian. No one would have predicted him, so it was a surprise, and now you have someone Booker T can chase to get the title to get a few months more of feuds and TV time out of him. However, at the same time, I think the heat was starting to burn off him. After a flat Wrestlemania world title loss, and then getting thrown into a nothing match he felt out of place in the month before this, even if it would have been obvious, it might have been his time to win to keep the gas on him. Even if they were going with Christian, though, this was the best we could come up with for a finish? Why not have him eliminate Jericho and have Jericho distract him for Christian to toss him or something? This just was unsatisfying. A watchable match for the history, but not exactly a good one."

Then the eliminations just happened one after the other in quick fashion after that. It gets a lot more enjoyable and focused once it gets to the last four and the finish of the match was creative where Christian got the win by cheating and establishes a feud with Booker T. His elimination on Chris Jericho was a great spot as well. This would have been much better as a tournament!"
