Also Booker should have sold the leg injury a lot more when landing on his feet from the third rope. Although the fans were invested in the match, I still find it worse than mediocre."

[6.0] "Two all time greats like Eddie/Booker were probably not going to have a bad match, but it is difficult to walk away from this and not expect a bit more, either. Booker T's opening face shine is spectacular and is pure electricity, but the leg-heat story that Eddie started never really quite amounted to much, Booker wins with a dropkick (? ) and the Chavo/Eddie feud seemed like it was supposed to factor in more given recent events + commentary, but it absolutely didn't. Just not quite up to standard for two men whose standards are very, very high. This did not feel like a PPV match, much less a PPV opener."

Booker had a great shine in the first few minutes, then Eddie took over and showed how you gather heat as a heel and then they did a little back and forth until the nicely looking Missile Dropkick. Good stuff - not overcomplicated, but very good all around."

[7.0] "Ahhh. Well, both wrestlers are great in the ring, and the show they put on is pretty good. Crowd is... sorta into it. Booker T always gets em going, and Eddie's well on his way to becoming a solid heel. I'm just a bit annoyed that Eddie spent pretty much the entire match working on Booker's knee, and then when Booker gets his second wind it almost seems like he completely forget that his knee is supposed to hurt. It's an all right match but never reaaally got me going."
