Greg Valentine vs. Jake Roberts

[4.0] "This was pretty forgettable. The action was fine enough, but it was over too quick and ended with a cheap DQ finish thanks to Ted DiBiase getting involved. **"

[6.0] "I thought this was a good match. The ending, a DQ, was unfortunate, but it furthered a feud. The storyline behind the belt is interesting, and the snake makes my skin crawl. I just thought it was an all-around good match; nothing top-notch or amazing, but still solid. 6/10"

[4.0] "Unfortunately something had to follow the first two matches and having two pretty boring workers didn't help proceedings, although knowing WWF booking it's probably by design. A completely forgettable but serviceable match that had nothing of note, with a predictable ending."

[6.0] "While the finish was disappointing I actually thought overall this was a solid match. Two good workers putting on a good one here. Got some good heat on the Roberts/Dibiase feud."

[4.0] "There wasn't much to this one as Dibiase causes the DQ by attacking Jake because he wants his Million Dollar Title back. Greg Valentine was basically a job guy by this point who would get a victory every now and again."

[5.0] "I wonder if they were told not to overshadow the main eventers in the previous match, because Roberts and Valentine can both actually wrestle, yet we are limited to basic punches and slams for most of the match here. Its an easy watch, but these guys are capable of so much more."

[4.0] "I vaguely remember this one. Jake stole the Million $ belt and Dibiase is hoping Valentine can get it back for him or at least beat Jake so he take it back himself. This was all about furthering the Snake/$ Man feud. Nothing special."

[5.0] "Solid little match to further build the Roberts/DiBiase program. There's some good wrestling in the match here, as you would expect of course from such great workers. Would love to see an extended variation of this. [**1/2]"

[3.0] "Was nothing to this match at all, both men seemed like they were stalling for time and then why the hell was Jimmy on the apron when Valentine was in control and going for the figure four, just made no sense at all. The dq was probably the best outcome for this match"

[5.0] "Watchable match. I liked the story of Roberts struggling to hit the DDT, and then the DQ helped build Roberts vs. DiBiase for WrestleMania. Solid effort. [**]"

[4.0] "Fine but never got into second gear due to the DQ, opting to save some stuff for Mania. Seeing Virgil run for his life after seeing Damien the snake was a good laugh. **"

[6.0] "A very decent little match, Greg Valentine's ability to simply hammer the living crap out of somebody can never be understated, and Jake brings his own dark charm of course. The gimmick with the Million Dollar Belt being hidden in the snake bag was great."
