[2.0] "Dusty Rhodes turning on WCW made no sense whatsoever. But what made even less sense was him beating up Louie Spicolli before turning on Zbyszko. Either way, the match itself wasn't going anywhere."
[6.0] "Why wasn't this on Starrcade instead of Zbyszko vs Bischoff? It's much better as Hall could actually work, obviously. Fans were also really invested in this and even though they were divided it created a very enjoyable atmosphere. Dusty's turn is another conversation, but the match itself was pretty good."
[3.0] "Work in the match was more than decent but the finish was really overbooked. Dusty shouldn't have touched Louie first and just went right in on Larry."
[1.0] "Well, it was a nice run tonight. Here comes the overbooked crap! Scott Hall overpowers to begin with. Larry fights back and gets his submission hold after a ref bump and playing possum and Loui Spicolli attacks drawing a DQ. Dusty kicks his ass and the crowd erupts. Larry holds Hall and Dusty gears up for a big elbow but pops Larry instead and mass confusion abounds until Dusty takes off his long sleeve to reveal an NWO shirt in one of the worst recruits for the group ever. Shiavone and Heenan act like somebody died in the ring. nWo making WCW looks stupid, again."
[2.0] "A weak match with a nonsensical heel turn for Dusty, this was the beginning of the NWO nonsense for the show, and the matches started to suffer because of it. Zybysko was slow, Hall was just there, and it was Spicolli's last PPV appearance before his untimely death."
[3.0] "I get that they need to do as much as they can to keep the WCW v nWo storyline going, but this whole feud just hasn't been interesting at any point. Hall's not amazing in the ring on his own so matching him up with an older wrestler like Larry beats me. Definitely shocked me when Dusty turned nWo at the end though."
[0.0] "The actual action of this match is not the worst I've seen, though why Larry is a match for a guy like Hall in 98 is suspect, but what really kills me is the incredibly stupid ending. Dusty is at ringside and he beats up Spicolli then goes after Hall as Larry holds him, but Hall escapes and Dusty hits Larry. It seems like an accident but then Dusty joins the nWo. This completely kills the crowd, who don't understand why it happened, and how could they? Very dumb move."
