It's so goddamn slow and whenever Mark's in control he has no idea how to keep things interesting. I swear that he has Kane in the Bearhug for half of the match and the finish feels just anticlimactic. The only thing that I popped for was Kane scaring away the lumberjacks, but that's still only a second in this 10 minute fiasco."
[3.0] "I might have given this match 4 points if the finish wasn't so terrible. Of course, given the two men in the ring, it was a slower and lumbering (pun intended) affair. It also doesn't help that lumberjack matches are never really exciting or standout matches. There was some decent action here and there. Enough to prevent it from being a total stinker. But then the finish. Kane hits a chokeslam, and all of a sudden Chavo and Dykstra slide in to attack him....Why..? Because Kane hit them once each earlier..? Or is there more context I'm missing as to why they decided to do this..? It's not like they were big rivals of Kane or that they had any allegiance to Henry. It wasn't even like Kane went out of his way to pick on them or attack them specifically during the match. It felt very random. And then the bearhug win wasn't very exciting on top of that. Just some strange decisions for this match."
[1.0] "Sloppy waste of time. Lumberjack stipulation was never so catchy, but here looking at the length and spots it was completely unnecessary. Typical WWE match of 2 big guys, boring and poor as hell. Only interesting fact from this match is that was last PPV's appearance of Chris Benoit."
[2.0] "One of the lumberjacks here is Chris Benoit. It's his last ever PPV appearance and it's chilling to watch as he looks like his mind is elsewhere and he doesn't get involved like any of the other 11 lumberjacks. Mark Henry had yet to hit his stride. He's nowhere near the levels of 'Hall of Pain' Mark Henry, but he has the aura of a man you don't want to fuck with nailed down. Kane is not the ideal opponent for him and the result is a slow, lumbering match. Henry works down Kane with a bearhug as a rest hold, and then it's later used to end the match. This would have been a lot more tolerable with a smaller opponent."
[3.0] "This match was boring. A slow-paced match by two big guys with Henry working over the back for most of it and it just wasn? t that interesting to me. A bearhug win was very rare in this era. Bad stuff *1/4"
[4.0] "4/10 is my rating for this match. This match was so slow and terrible. Kane tried in this match and he did two impressive moves but generally, this match was so boring."
[5.0] "The behaviour of the lumberjacks was amusing with them being scared of Kane at the start before starting to sneakily go after him once he was injured later on. Alright match for what it was."
