Curt Hennig & Larry Hennig vs. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens

[6.0] "This is a rematch from the previous month, and for the most part I enjoyed it around as much as that one. This Bockwinkel-Stevens reunion continues to be a fun one; I know Stevens is generally considered to have not aged as gracefully as Bockwinkel had, but in this context I think he's just fine. The father-son dynamic of Curt and Larry continues to shine through in their work together. Much of this is dedicated to the former, but while he's not "perfect" yet, there's still nothing wrong with that. Lots of solid work from everyone involved, and while I know he's still got some growing to do this makes me look forward to the Bockwinkel/Hennig stuff to come in 1986-7. The one thing that knocks this match below 4/24 is the finish, but it didn't really bother me, as it was clear that Bockwinkel deliberately went over the top rope to get Larry disqualified. ***1/4"
