I'm starting to worry he's a lot like Jake Hager/Jack Swagger where he's just not super motivated to be a great bell to bell wrestler despite having the looks and all the right attributes."

[3.0] "Okay, this match may have been very good in building Miro's character and he gained more credibility than he had after weeks of dumb segments, but it was so BORING. But really, I don't think I could describe that match in a better way, it was just boring from start to finish and it's proof that Miro is a very average worker who, even with freedom, is incredibly basic. He's not cut out to dominate long matches like that and that has always been the case even in WWE when he was US champion. Trent's offense and the few moments when he had the upper hand were the only cool moments of the match that raised the level a bit but even when I want to be positive, I think of that botch at the end of the match from the third rope, exactly the same as Shotzi Blackheart against Toni Storm last night. At this point, the most interesting thing about the match was the interactions between Orange Cassidy and Penelope Ford in the outside which were quite fun. Kip Sabian's intervention was predictable and although Miro won this match overwhelmingly, I think a tag team match will soon take place between Best Friends and Miro/Kip. Will it be entertaining ? No I don't think so and I don't really want to see this match because I'm already dozing off at the thought of Trent and Miro working together again but if it will allow them to make up for that awful soporific match, why not. I may be hard on my rating but I really thought it was a bad match and there's nothing good to come out of it. Miro's finisher now called "Game Over" is ridiculous, as is his video game fan gimmick, his debut is really mediocre in my opinion."

[8.0] "This was a great match and really built Miro back up from the rough start. Trent is a phenomenal talent and they worked really well together. The match was always moving and the action was kept upbeat. Really good performances from both and Miro comes out still looking like a beast. Perfect for a TV match to give their story some juice ***3/4"

[6.0] "Miro did good intro and a funny introduction. I think he should take part in comedy segments, because he is perfect for this job. I liked the spot with Orange Cassidy and Penelope Ford. Later on Trent botched springboard, we had ridiculous ending and Miro finished the match the same way as he always did in WWE. He lost weight, got ripped, changed name, changed the look but he stayed with the same boring finisher. What a fail..."

[8.0] "Another strong match. Easily the best thing about Miro's brief (thus far) AEW run, even if I have been entertained by his antics with the Kipper. Here he was just allowed to be the athletic, imposing monster that he is at his best, and the ultra underrated Trent was the perfect opponent for him. Like the opener, this match also did a great job of balancing multiple stories, with Chuck Taylor and the Kipper brawling to the back, Orange Cassidy getting attacked by Jon Silver to further that program and then the post match angle where Orange came back to save his friends. A very good match but more importantly a strong step forward for multiple stories and most importantly Miro."
