Seth Rollins had come into his own as a character and Buddy Murphy looked the part of a genuinely great babyface. Some unique offense with the overarching story tying this together and making it one of the better SmackDown matches of 2020. Intriguing storytelling and great wrestling are a difficult combination to beat. 4 stars, 8 out of 10."
[8.0] "This was a very good match with a great student versus master dynamic, it's obvious they could have done better but it was great for what it was. I also wish this match would have been in a bigger context, because after months of great partnership they deserved a PPV match and something other than a stupid program with Rey Mysterio's daughter. But we got this match here on TV for free and you can say that they delivered, they obviously have a very good chemistry and did some cool stuff together. I especially liked Rollins' heel-work on Murphy's arm and also his trash-talk where he reminded Murphy that he was his disciple and nothing more. Murphy did a good babyface performance with some cool comebacks and he sold his arm well. Nothing to say, it could have been better, but this was damn cool."

I love how Rollins kept refering himself to Messiah throughout the match; I have been really critical of Rollins character work but this was really good. Hard hitting, very physical matchup. The selling was good and I liked Rollins work on the arm. The ending sequence was really good with these two exchanging moves after moves before Rollins took advantage of the injured arm and Stomp Murphy for the victory. ****"

Rollins makes shine Murphy, Murphy has great counters, he is an awesome babyface in it. I can't put more than a ***3/4 because of the ads that made me off the match. I was surprised, but both wrestlers are two of the bests in WWE."

"7. 75/10 It was a great match for a weekly smackdown show . Way better than the usual 4 minutes smackdown matches . Buddy murphy and seth rollins botched the high flying move murphy did outside the ring but the match was overall pretty awesome , fast pace and amazing moves from both . The end could have been way better and more dramatic though ,"
[7.0] "Murphy got to show out in a big spot against Seth Rollins, but he's not quite ready to beat him just yet. His sell of Rollins' Stomp was fantastic. Not a massive fan of the Mysterios melodrama, but it didn't interrupt the match too much."
