[5.0] "The DQ finish is incredibly bad and it certainly hurts the match but it was decent action up until then. They stalled way too much but there was good stuff in between that. The 14 minutes they were given didn't help, they should have shaved 6 off and give them to Muta."

[3.0] "1.75 stars a dull and boring that clearly wasn't helped by the stupid finish of getting dq'ed by throwing your opponents over the top rope"

[6.0] "I'm a little surprised by the reception of this as I thought it was actually pretty good. It was a bit different than other Tag Team Matches on this show and I really enjoyed the interactions with the crowd. At one point Scotty asks the fans if he pulled the Samoan's hair and a few moments later Fatu asks them if he got hit by Savage, which got them hooked all the way to the finish."

[2.0] "This is another match that sounded much better on paper than it ended up being thanks to the round robin tournament format. Some of the antics were amusing, but for the most part this was pretty boring and lacking in action. I felt really done with this when we were closing in on the time limit with one of the Steiners still trapped in a lethargic bearhug. It was pretty clear that nobody here was interested in wrestling all that hard given they all had three matches, and consequently this felt like a small time house show match rather than something that belonged on PPV. My question is - if they couldn't be bothered putting in any effort, why the hell did it need to last so long? If they just got to the DQ within five minutes this would have been a lot less painful."

[4.0] "At this point, it has become painfully obvious that the Samoans are not good enough for this tournament. Unfortunately, this is not their last match."

[2.0] "SO boring. Nothing horribly offensive happens, it's just so dull. Absolutely the worst match of the night by a pretty good margin. I know I said nothing offensive happens, but the finish was pretty garbo. Being able to get DQed by throwing your opponent over the top rope was a garbage rule and it's laughable that it was ever included. I'm glad it's gone and it isn't missed."

[4.0] "This would turn out to be the New Wild Samoans best match of the night, which is really not saying that much. This is relatively slow, but the match has a couple decent spots. This was another match hindered by the tournament because these two teams could've had a better match."

[4.0] "This was a 15-minute exercise in stalling by both teams. This didn;t really pick up until the very end, but the ending of a ref taking the word of a manager after not seeing the DQ was rather lame and stupid."

[3.0] "They used to be the Samoan Swat Team but Samu was gone at some point and he was replaced by the guy who used to be Tama in the WWF. The other guy Fatu would become Rikishi. In one years time it looks like Tama put on 100 pounds. The match started back and forth until Savage kicked Scott in the face, and threw him outside the ring, where Fatu attacked him. The New Wild Samoans had the advantage over Scott until Scott fought back with a Frankensteiner to Fatu. After Scott avoided a big splash from Savage, Rick and Fatu came in without being tagged, and Rick attacked both. Fatu ran at Scott, and Scott sent him over the top rope. Scott was disqualified for doing so, and The New Wild Samoans won the match"

[2.0] "This match was weird and pretty awful except for a very nice Frankensteiner by Scott Steiner near the end. The two teams spent over half the match stalling, which made it all the bewildering that this was one of the longest matches of the night."

[6.0] "I actually liked this match, I think it was even better than Steiners/Warriors. I enjoyed the mind games in the beginning, even though I do admit they went a bit too long, and the action that came afterwards was solid as well. The crowd was into everything here and, frankly, I was too. [***]"

[3.0] "Boring. Barely anything of note happened in the entire match, besides one cool Frankensteiner by Scott. Otherwise, a total snooze fest with another lame DQ finish. The tag matches really stunk."

[3.0] "A perfect example of why the one night round robin "iron man" tournament didn't work, these teams were easily good enough to have a great match but either because they were holding back or tired or both, this was really underwhelming."
