[4.0] "The match isn't great, but I have to admit the finish got me. In-ring quality: 0.75/5. Stakes: 0.75/2. Justification: 1/1. Placement on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 1/1. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.5/10. Match watched on the WCW YouTube channel."
[6.0] "Steiners are clearly the number one tag team in the company now and I think the Road Warriors realise that here. Despite being face vs. face which confused the crowd a bit, the work was good and it wasn't as much of a styles clash as expected. We get the old stupid double pin finish but that's about as clean as the Roadies are willing to job so whatever."
[5.0] "Not much different than other Tag Team Matches on this show. Steiners once again brought some energy into this, but the most memorable thing was Scotty doing a Belly to Belly to Hawk from the second rope and almost killing the gut. So apart from that "little" thing it was pretty solid."
[6.0] "This was fun while it lasted, but I really wish they got to do more. The action looked very physical and moved along at a good pace. I tend to dislike every variation of the finish where a guy manages to pin himself (it nearly always seems very forced to me and makes whoever pins themselves look like an idiot), but this was at least executed fairly well and a step above the lame double pinfall that I was expecting. It's a shame the tournament format prevented this from reaching its potential."
[6.0] "This was a match I was dreading heading into this, but it turned out great. It's really too bad that they didn't get a longer match around this time."
[6.0] "Okay, this match actually kinda ruled; I actually wanted to see this go longer. It's shocking how well these two teams mesh together, especially as faces. One of the Steiner's (I think Rick) damn near dropped Hawk on his head, and Hawk was obviously a bit dazed after it. Really fun little match this turned out to be."
[6.0] "The two tag teams WCW was known for going at it in a too-short match. This match was fine and better than anything else so far. The only other time I've seen these two teams fight was on a Nitro years later. Decent match, but could have better with more time."
[4.0] "The match started back and forth until the Road Warriors had the advantage over Scott. Scott fought back with a super belly to belly suplex, but failed to gain the advantage. Animal and Hawk performed a combination of a bridging belly to back suplex and a clothesline. The suplex resulted in Scott pinning Animal, and the Steiner Brothers won"
[6.0] "This was a pretty good match but would have benefited from more time. The finish was pretty creative, as it looked as if it would be a double-pin, only to have Scott Steiner lift his shoulder at the last instant."
[5.0] "Could of been better if it was just a standalone tag match but it was ok for what it was. Steiner nearly dropping Hawk on his head was pretty scary and Hawk looked a bit dazed from it"
[6.0] "This match was really solid, looked like a struggle and a pure fight between four badass dudes trying to hit each other as hard as they possibly could. As it the case with most of the matches in this tournament, this meeting would've been a much bigger deal down the road, but it was still by far the best match of the tag teams' tournament. [**3/4]"
[6.0] "This should have been awesome but I can really only call it as decent. I blame the weird idea to have all these teams wrestle multiple times in one night and often in short matches, I think they were clearly holding back here."
