Irwin R. Schyster vs. Mabel

[4.0] "Yeah, Mabel is always a red rag, and Rotunda in the 1994-95 singles competition is anything but a revelation, but that seems a little too harsh to me. It's a short tournament match, and in the end, the more talented wrestler advances to the next round anyway. Live and let live."

[0.0] "I can't save anything from this, seriously I can't save a thing. Irwin tried to made something work, but Mabel goes completely hard and doesn't take care of Irwin to protect his partner in the ring, powerhouse that could injure someone in any moment of the match. 0/10 [DUD]"

[3.0] "Serviceable match brought down by both the finish and commentary from Art Donovan. The later of which you'll see me say a lot through this event. I mean...the guy shows he doesn't even have the most BASIC knowledge of the product when IRS comes down and he has to say "Is this one of the wrestlers? " Two matches in the books and they should have pulled him. It was an okay showing, but the finish just didn't work. The ref looks dumber than a usual ref. IRS has his feet on the ropes, AND Mabel is flailing around with his shoulders coming off the canvas, and he misses them both. Could have been worse, but not a match for the ages."

[1.0] "This match was bad. I don't like IRS and Mabel sucks beyond belief. But I'm sure Vince McMahon thought this was good shit, pal."

[5.0] "This is another one of those matches that I think has a poor rating just because of who's in it, because the match itself seemed fine to me. It isn't even slow paced outside of an IRS chinlock, and a couple of the moves looked fairly impactful. The finish didn't look very good, but other than that I thought this was an interesting mix of styles."

[4.0] "There wasn't anything Rotunda could do with Mabel as IRS is the heel and he can't fight from underneath and Mabel is not charismatic enough to keep it interesting as a giant face. I mean it wasn't bad, it just wasn't engaging at all and Mike clearly just wanted to make it end and advance to work with someone more capable of delivering something decent."

[2.0] "At least it wasn? t just 5 minutes of restholds, there WAS movement. That doesn? t mean this match didn? t suck, but still. Mabel couldn? t have a good match on his best day it seems despite being surprisingly over, IRS was always a good worker but even he couldn? t drag anything passable out of his opponent here. You can skip this match, as a matter of fact, you can skip pretty much every Mabel match."

[1.0] "This was way too long even at only five minutes. Mabel is a lost cause whenever he's in the ring, and IRS couldn't be bothered to put on a good match at this point in his career. By the way, what the FUCK was that finish' [1/4*]"

[2.0] "This match needs to be seen just for the quite remarkably bad finish. Mabel shaking his leg like an upside down turtle."

[6.0] "Not bad at all. IRS is solid as usual and Mabel is always fascinating to watch with some of the stuff he can do at his size."

[4.0] "This isn't good but it's not all time bad in my opinion. Mabel at least had an aspect of spectacle going when he wrestled, and he could be surprising for such a huge man at times."

[3.0] "There is nothing good to say about this match, but guess it deserves 3 points for it not being totally awful, except finish."

[1.0] "This was a bad match. At least it was short. It was a tough challenge for IRS, who was capable of good matches while Mabel did not have good matches. The finish was that Mabel went to the middle ropes, took way too long, Irwin shook the ropes and Mabel bumped into the ring leading to Irwin holding onto the ropes for the pinfall win.
