[9.0] "I really loved the storytelling, having watched it live, it was just emotional how they fought, need this between them in WWE at a big stage like Wrestlemania without any mess that WWE usually does in Brother VS Brother storylines."
[8.0] "I love to see brothers fighting, remember my childhood times lmao. Jokes asides, incredible TV match and a good awnser if you're bored or tired of wrestling. This will not get a higher rating only because a part of the action in the middle-ending sucked so much and I really think Rey Fenix got injured, but some moves executed here I never saw before. Really."
[7.0] "This was a very good match. Penta and Rey Fenix always have very good to great matches. This is not as good as some of their other matches, as the middle dragged a bit too much for me. The match did get better by the end though, so that's a positive. ***3/4"
[7.0] "The beginning of this match was great but the middle part was a bit boring and there it was a werid moment where Penta no sold a frankenstainer and connected a ankward move but except for that the action was very fun. These two know each other very well and their chemistry was great. The mexican destroyer that got Fenix the win was amazing but not as good as Fenix's avalanche spanish fly that was the best move of the match. A bit dissapointing but overall entertaining. 7/10 - 3.75*/5*"
[8.0] "Sehr gutes Match.Beide haben wenig überraschend eine super Chemie miteinander und so bekommt man einen tollen Kampf geboten, bei dem beide zwar nicht alles raushauen, trotzdem ein sauberes Ding. ****"
[6.0] "I've never been into the Lucha Brothers. Pentagon in AEW has not stood out as a marquee talent whatsoever, blending into the background of the roster. Yet again, I got everything I expected. Big moves, little selling or psychology, nothing to keep me invested other than some big interchangeable moves. Penta has done nothing to make him stand out for me besides his look, which pisses me off because his look is so cool."
[8.0] "Very good match. Started so well and ended so well. Props to both of them, they both need to win something, they are great together but as solo they are even better"
[9.0] "This was an incredible match . MOTN in my opinion. It was fast paced and story telling was nicely executed as well. It started off really well and had the right amount of hard hitting. Those chops were awesome . The high flying spots were amazing as well , Rey Fenix was a damn drone over here and I loved it. They did not make it seem like a indie spotfest instead it had a meaning as these luchadors have the ability to use their lucha libre wrestling style wonderfully to tell a story in the ring. As Penta started to get the offense in it seemed as if Fenix was actually hurt and Penta being his elder brother was worried for the well being of his brother . This was wonderful in ring psychology over here and to top it off he was playing possum and the transition to the Canadian destroyer out of nowhere for the win was just phenomenal . This is one of the best matches I have seen this year as far as American wrestling companies are concerned. A match that the crowd loved and had a lot of fiery ferocity and potency. The suspense was also there as expected in a match between two very talented luchadors. The chemistry between was spot on and they delivered a lucha libre wrestling masterpiece. These two are artists and they drew one hell of a painting in the ring. Highly recommended . ****1/2"
[10.0] "Holy hell, what a match. I was leaving with huge expectations because they're two of the best wrestlers on the planet but also with a little bit of apprehension for fear of being disappointed because they have fought each other randomly in the past and it was never to the level of what it could have been. Well, there it was. It was just everything you'd expect from a Pentagon vs Fenix in a 15-minute match, it's just spot after spot with very little psychology but man, this is modern pro wrestling and even if I don't force anybody to appreciate that, it's hard not to love this kind of fast-paced match where everything is done in a fluid and impressive way. Every time they did something I was captivated and they managed to do more and more great things crescendo. When I saw some of the spots I thought that they couldn't do better and two minutes later they give me wrong and do something even more shocking. I really liked everything in this contest ; the spots, the selling of Fenix, the extraordinary chops of Penta, the counters, the smooth sequences, everything. I also really liked the strong presence of Eddie Kingston in the commentary who put his allies in the spotlight at every word and who's excellent at doing that, he's such an admirable talker. In the commentary they've repeatedly told that Fenix is the best high-flyer in the world and when you see the performance he delivered here it's hard to argue with them, he may even be the best in history in this category. Anyway, this match clearly lived up to expectations and easily fits into AEW Dynamite's list of best matches ever. Just two brothers doing amazing things."
[8.0] "No surprises. We expected good match and we got a good match. Both wrestlers know each other very well and they have a great chemistry together. It was fun to watch."
"8. 5/10 It was one of the best aew dynamites matches of 2020 and all the spots were pretty amazing ! but i cant rate it more than 8. 5/10 because of rey fenix injury . if rey fenix didht injure himself i am sure it would be a 9 or 9. 5 per ten match . Lets hope we are going to see them wrestle again and a longer match on a pay per view . its going to be 5 stars easily especially if it going to be a ladder match"
[8.0] "This was good, but I couldn't help but think that they could've gone another 5-10 minutes and had a classic. It was still really good, but when you have these two in the ring, expectations are going to be very high. ****"
[8.0] "To be fair I had very high expectations for this match. I expected it to be an all-time classic. Instead it was sort of a greatest hits between the two, which was still really good, but not a classic. I'm sure given more time and without the ad breaks they could have put on a 9. 5-10 match but I give it an 8 just because I think it was all gloss and no body. Some truly great innovative spots though."
[9.0] "I did think this was great, though it's unfortunate Fenix ended up dumping himself on his head, and I was a little frustrated at the end after Penta hit the armbreaker and then just stood around for a long time milking a Shawn Michaels-esque "emotional" moment, he's better than that. But can't take away from the great action, very impressive."
[8.0] "Excellent bout between Lucha Bros. Driven more by the storytelling (all the counters, the way they bring the moves etc. ) than spots itself, it's a MOTYC at least and, ofc, in a major stage they can elevate their performances even more."
[8.0] "Super fun match between two of my favorite wrestlers it did feel a little off after Fenix got his bell rung and it also seemed like they were holding a little back/didn't have enough time to tell the story they wanted to but regardless it was still an incredible match. I really hope there breakup is at least partly on AEW TV because I don't intend to watch any AAA. Hopefully Fenix gets a real chance against Kenny but I'm kinda worried he's gonna get the Sonny treatment."
[9.0] "MOTYC for North American wrestling right here. Hard hitting match with great aerial action as expected by Rey. There was story behind it and something important was up for grabs. I don't think there are people that love wrestling and will hate this match."
[8.0] "This was a really good match. Brother Vs Brother. They told a really good story of Penta El Zero having compassion for his lil bro who tried and took advantage of his brother. Personally I think they could have done better and Rey took a lot of reckless risks. The finishing Destroyer was just absolutely amazing. ****"
[10.0] "Some of the spots in this were out of this world and the storytelling at the end of the older brother hesitating to put away his younger brother was perfect"
[10.0] "Absolutely incredible. It probably could've been better if Fenix hadn't fallen on his neck at one point, leading to a few minutes of stalling before he regained his composure. Otherwise it was exactly what you'd want from these two; great pace, absolutely jaw dropping moves like Fenix' tornillo, the Spanish Fly, Pentagon's springboard into the sling blade; the list goes on and on. The finish was one of the best AEW has ever done, with Pentagon calling back to his LU days with the arm break and Fenix just fighting through it with an absolutely sick Canadian Destroyer spot. I don't know if I'd go far enough to say this was better than Pac-Omega or the Parking Lot Brawl from a month ago, but this was sensational. And again; they can probably do even better! Isn't that a scary thought?"
[9.0] "I really enjoyed this match. It promised lucha madness and a " brother versus brother and partner versus partner" storyline that was executed to perfection. Glad to see Fenix and Penta getting meaningful TV time again and maybe giving a taste of what a full-fleshed family feud might look like. Kingston on commentary was fire as well."
[9.0] "Awesome stuff. Great to see a jaw-dropping, stunt-based match have an actual narrative to tell. And the spots here were actually unpredictable and exciting too. One of the best TV matches of the year"
[10.0] "This was the best TV match since Omega v PAC. Non-stop action, amazing bout delivered by these amazing luchadores. It probably furthers adds to the tension in Eddie's stable. Looking forward to the Fenix v Omega match."
