Battle Royal Match 2012

[3.0] "Christian sure was the right choice to win, but overall this was just a whatever battle royal with nothing that good happening in it and another showcase of just how bad the midcard scene was around this time."

[4.0] "I mean, a battle royale is kind of a battle royale, right? Messy, limited work possible until the very end, lots of "oh hey that guy exists" moments as we get to see Yoshi Tatsu and Titus O'Neil and Tyson Kidd when he still had all his neck bones. Sidebar, incredibly funny in a tragic way that Michael Cole hits us on commentary with "You're looking at the future of the WWE! Alex Riley, Tyson Kidd, David Otunga, Darren Young! " Yeah, none of that panned out, did it? Nor, perhaps, should it have. Anyway, a competent but uninspiring battle royale that doesn't get particularly exciting down the stretch, even if I always love seeing Christian win things."

[3.0] "This battle royal was so important to the company that the PPV starts mid-match. In terms of in-ring action, it's your fairly standard low stakes battle royal. Normally, I'd give that 4 points but a few things made me knock another point off. This match is essentially all tag teams, a few underneath singles guys, Christian and Miz. The fans seemed to have wanted William Regal considering the boos when he got eliminated, but it was almost a sure thing that Christian was winning. The predictability to a fairly mediocre battle royal dropped it that extra point. Miz and Christian had a pretty good 'final two' segment, but nothing good enough to save this match. Nothing to see here. Your standard stuff."

[4.0] ".......... did they just throw a bunch of tag teams at the time and Christain and call it a day for the battle royal? LOL I guess theres like 1 or two other people they tried to push as singles stars but yeah, not much suspense on who will win lol oh yeah the miz was there too"

[3.0] "Oh my. What a cast of contenders here. Let's be honest, Christian was the only guy in the match who wouldn't have felt like an underwhelming winner. Most boring battle royal I've ever seen."
