One of the better stories to come out of WCW in 1996 pre nWo era."

Luger is under suspicion on commentary pretty much the whole way through the match when Harlem Heat keep cutting off the ring and keep goading Luger in to getting into the ring illegally giving them more opportunities to stay on the advantage with Sting with illegal chokes and double teams and Harlem Heat look dangerous because they are have far more experience as a team. I love the Sting and Luger team dynamic because it was just so unique in how they was presented and Luger winning the match by cheating without Sting knowing was really fun."

[5.0] "Decent enough Nitro match and I do like the storytelling between Luger and Sting, which sees Luger cheat to win the titles from The Harlem Heat. The match itslef was forgettable, but it was only a NItro match in early 1996, so I wasn't expecting a stellar match by any means."

WCW often seem to have a frantic turnover in terms of feuds but the Luger/Sting tension has been building for months at this point and any match they're involved in makes for fantastic watching on the twists, turns and suspicion alone. Factor in too, some fantastic and innovative offence from Booker T and what you have is good enough to even overlook Mongo's unfortunate commentary."
