Disco Inferno vs. Saturn

[6.0] "Perry Saturn was great at one point, mostly when broke away from The Flock the following year, but Disco is kind of a clown. Not a terrible match by any means, but nothing too great either."

[4.0] "Didn't grab my attention at any point, which is weird, because Saturn used to be one of more exciting guys in ECW, but here he's more stationary, working like a heel against Inferno who wasn't over. They didn't do anything awful, but the match was just forgettable."

[2.0] "If this was on a normal Thunder or like mid Nitro, maybe I would not be so critical of it but we had a low level house show effort from these guys who did nothing by the way of getting the crowd hyped for the rest of the show. This match actively was a negative."

[4.0] "This one is okay, but it doesn't really have much in the way of flow and they don't seem to work that well together. Disco gets to wrestle with a slightly more serious edge and that helps out when he takes on The Flock towards the end"

[5.0] "This was mostly pretty decent with Saturn in control for 85% of it. For no apparent reason Disco attacks the Flock who are sitting front row quite some distance from the ring they are actually wrestling in which leads to the finish. Rings of Saturn still looks cool."

[4.0] "Saturn made his WCW debut recently and beat Disco for the belt in his first match. Saturn controls most of it since he's the new tough guy. Disco gets his token offense and makes the mistake of going after the Flock at ringside. He drags Kidman over the railing, gives Lodi the chart buster on the railing then goes after Van Hammer and gets blindsided by Saturn. Back in the ring Disco hits a high cross body off the top rope but Saturn rolls it over into the rings of Saturn for the submission. Eh."

[6.0] "This was quite good. Saturn was really cool around this time. Double-hard, ex-army ranger and Raven's right-hand man. Was interesting that they put the TV title on him rather than his boss Raven, who I guess comes off like an even bigger deal as a result. Disco's a complete dork but fans still seem to enjoy dancing along to his theme. Mad spot where Saturn drops Disco on the top rope and then takes him down with a reckless looking cross body. Disco takes out various members of the Flock in a good sequence."

[3.0] "A poor match here. That's to be expected from Disco, and Saturn wasn't much good in this one either, despite being the more talented of the two. There was little chemistry on display, and it was just dull."

[6.0] "A solid enough match, thanks entirely to Perry Saturn who came here to work and did just that, very nice job on his part."

[6.0] "It was a rather nice match, not incredible either, but nice. I was just a little bit disturbed by the fact that the rhythm of the match was quite often interrupted by the exits from the ring, but fortunately the end of the match was a little bit more dynamic."
