106.04.2025RipMonroe6.0I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoyed this match, don't get me wrong its not the most technical of things but the heat from the crowd, it was more fast paced then I'm seeing from Hogan and it had some decent back and forth before the Dungeon of Losers came down.

821.10.2024cactus5.0Hogan shines Liger up well before Luger ends up looking like a moron when he randomly celebrates after putting Hogan in the rack. This felt like a big main event while it lasted. Luger looks like Hogan's equal as he no-sells Hogan's suplex. Hogan busts out some of his rare technical stylings here. Although the finish might be a disappointment, the babyfaces questioning Luger's loyalty made for compelling TV.

1210.10.2024Ruthless Attitude5.0This type of wrestling match isn't really my thing, but it was fine for what it was which was two larger than life characters that pose down, do big power moves and sometimes no sell each other for big crowd reactions. The ref doing the classic arm raising thing while Hogan was in the torture rack was hilariously awkward and the Dungeon of Doom interferes for a non-finish, but Hogan clearly would have won as he landed the leg drop.

1509.08.2024Trombek Kushinika4.0Hogan did a few moves I have never seen him nor, nor would expect him to do either. Slow 80s / 90s match and a fairly typical Hogan match (other than the few different moves previously mentioned). Luger looks jacked and capable. Hogan is Thin Hogan. Second match in a row with a daft Dungeon of Doom run in.......... LAZZZZZZZZY BOOKING!

1825.07.2024Cyclone854.0This was honestly semi enjoyable until the finish, which was an obvious mess. The finish with the run ins from the dozens of guys was insane considering this felt like a legit big fight before that. The torture rack was great. The No selling made me legit laugh too
1919.06.2024JoelintonGoat4.0They take forever to have any actual action, Things peak when Luger puts Hogan in torture rack then Luger just drops him because he thinks he won even though there was no bell. Hogan hits the big boot; leg drop then the dungeon of doom runs in and it's a underwhelming DQ finish that does not protect Luger because he came off stupid and was about to lose.

2629.12.2023Dune3.0This definitely could have been a PPV match (in terms of who was involved), so it's interesting to see that WCW gave it away for free on their second week of Nitro. The crowd is way hotter for this than it deserves. Even in Hogan's waning years as a face, he's still mega-popular. The match itself is terrible. Luger is just... not interesting. Even with Hogan's played-out match formula, he's still fun as hell to watch. The charisma is there with his expressions, the way he carries himself around the ring, the hulk-up spots, there's a character there to get behind even if you've seen it all before. I don't even think Luger's torture rack looks particuarly good, like ever, but it's cool to see it put on Hogan. Finish is, as expected, Dungeon of Doom interference.

3123.11.2022CommisarRobe6.0A lot better than some people on here give it credit for, this match was very intense and had the crowd behind it. Not a fan of Hogan escaping the torture rack as it makes the debuting Luger look weak but a DQ finish is even more annoying, not a bad match though.

3312.06.2022Sky233.0Maybe people were easily pleased back in these days. That's the only justification I can think of for (1) Hogan vs. Luger being an incredible dream match in 1995, and (2) it getting this reaction, despite being very mid. Luger dropping the Torture Rack early and celebrating like he'd already won was stupid. It's a bad spot that doesn't get anyone over. Then two-count, Hulk up, win (though by DQ due to Dungeon interference). Yep.

3812.01.2022Garmonbozia5.0The Dungeon Of Doom interfere and cause a DQ. Before that Luger and Hogan have a passable encounter.

4505.08.2021GOK4E6.0I liked this one. It was intense, the crowd was amazing. Luger looked particularly dangerous and Hogan was invested. However, the finish is disappointing. (***)
4611.06.2021LucaGG185.0For his debut in WCW, Lex Luger didn't do too bad. He was able to compete on equal terms with Hogan, even though it was clear that Hogan would win.
4726.03.2021dudewhereismycar3.0These two obviously can't put a technical masterpiece together but I thought it was an okey personality clash.
4818.11.2020michmoose214.0Hogan is just not someone I like watching. The Torture Rack spot was cool. I'm surprised they rushed into this match so quick.
4914.10.2020Mizzle Assault Ant3.0Looking back I'm surprised that WCW decided to run this match so quickly, but since they really wanted Nitro to be a success it actually does make sense. This match is smack dab in the worst of Hogan so it can't be that good, but it's not horrible, and Luger racking Hogan was pretty exciting and surprising.
