[9.0] "That was absolutely AWESOME. I could not believe my eyes when I was stuff Ricky Morton was doing. He had a great chemistry with Joey Janela and I'm so glad they had this match together. Great, great show."
[9.0] "This is the sort of match that makes all the "Joey Janela is fat and can't wrestle" peeps from the Cornette Cult look stupid. This isn't just a good match; it's a great match and it's largely because Janela is able to get the most out of a 64 year old Ricky Morton who has no business being this good at this age. And yet he is and while Janela deserves the bulk of the credit, the Hall of Famer more than holds up his end of the bargain. There's some nice brawling, some nice storytelling involving the Figure Four, Morton taking some bumps that you'd never expect for someone his age and of course the awesome Canadian Destroyer spot that brought the house down. I expected this to be a good match but it honestly exceeded expectations, and in my opinion was the best thing to come out of Janela's 4th edition of Spring Break."
[6.0] "At his age, I can only respect Ricky Morton and the simple fact that he did a Canadian Destroyer makes me applaud that legend but I have to admit it was a little bit sloppy nearly 75% of the match. **3/4"
[8.0] "The best of Joey Janela's Spring Break legend matches. Ricky Morton came in and gigged, and had a fun modern match that got the crowd involved big time. Even though it was Janela's own event, the fans wanted to see the legend take it to the Bad Boy."
