[6.0] "Fun opener. This is your classic NJPW undercard match, a fast paced match with good action to warm up the crowd. The work is very good, as is to be expected given the names involved, there are some really nice sequences and spots. There's not much in the way of storytelling or heat, but it's achieves it's goal and the TNA team adapts pretty well to the style and new environment"
[5.0] "Not much to highlight. It was sold as a furious inter-promotional war, but it was more like a typical six-man tag team exhibition. At least it left some good sequences, between a few jumps out of the ring and exchanges of finishers. Until AJ finished off Milano Collection with the Styles Clash."
[6.0] "Decent Opener. While it's far away from openers of the last few years Wrestle Kingdom, it's still holds up as a good opening match, but it's still pretty light fpr an opener of what is considered the show of the year of one of the biggest companies in the world. ***"
[7.0] "Decent opening match. Had an excellent clash of both Puro and American wrestling, though, coming from the names in the match, I expected the match to be overall show-stealing. Christian and AJ were the highlights of the match for me. (***1/2)"
[6.0] "This match picked up as it went on. Seeing the names I think I had expected a bit more but it was still a fun opener. To me, Christian really shined and seemed to fit in well especially on the TNA side. That said but the end everyone looked good."
