[5.0] "It was a very basic match that I wanted more from. A strange time limit was given to the match to make sure it ended in a draw, probably to keep Adam Pearce strong, but I don't think it was the right decision. They also got to the finish early and had to push Kaz off the top rope once to try and kill time"

[5.0] "I didn't like the draw ending, I get why they did it, but it wasn't necessary as they could have had this match on a better show where this was the main focus and not a tournament. The match had some flaws in addition to the ending and it was mostly the slow pace and the bad beginning. Kazarian starts hot attacking Pearce from behing, but then takes a condom off the ref's pocket and hits Pearce with it. This was stupid and made me lost interest to the match. Then Pearce gets control and slows the pace a lot. After that both guys hit some signature moves, such as Kazarian's tazmission or slingshot legdrop. Pearce regains momentum after Van der Pyle distracts Kazarian and hits an urinage. Then Kazarian hits Pearce's signature move: the piledriver. And them both Pearce and Kazarian kicked out of each others finisher. The time is running out and they go to the top rope, where Kazarian hits the Flux Capacitator and when he finally makes the cover, the bell rings and the match is ruled a draw. The match wasn't that interesting for me, I think this two could do better."

I was so confused by this result before watching it, that I timed the match myself and it is indeed declared a time limit draw at 16:19. This was on the way to being a good match, but the draw was so deflating and confusing, it really killed the match and the crowd."

[7.0] "The match is kept basic, but they work well within that basic framework to craft a good old school wrestling match. Their chemistry is fine, moving along smoothly and building up tension to match their increasing tempo. The Time Limit Draw is a good decision here, as it will build up heat for a rematch that will get a bigger spot outside of this tournament weekend, which is a good booking decision. Perfectly fine wrestling, even better story, a good program for the PWG World Championship."
