[5.0] "Not bad, a little bit sloppy and some of the work is still a bit divaish but this is pretty decently paced and the crowd gets fairly into it. **1/2"
[3.0] "It's nice that women were given 13 minutes compared to the main roster, but they did not use the time to their benefit. Match is a slog with nothing interesting going on at all. Aside from powerbomb, offense looks weak and there's no rhyme or reason for anything."
[6.0] "This was a pretty good match, I think I do prefer their previous match in the title tournament. This one is a little slower and more deliberate, but the work is still good. 3.25 stars"
[5.0] "A pretty average match though I was pretty impressed with Emma's Powerbomb looking as good as it did. The finish looked good and Paige going over was the right choice in my opinion, but this one was pretty boring and probably should have been a few minutes shorter to give the main event a bit more time. 3 stars at best."
[3.0] "This was pretty bad all around. Having Stephanie McMahon introducing the NXT "divas" followed by Emma with her disgustingly bad dance moves and lack of body coordination, and fucking Saraya Knight is crazy to look at in 2025, good thing everything turned out better for the women in wwe following this. Just a slog of a match to get through, no cohesiveness or apparent wrestling ability on show."
[5.0] "Emma's goofy gimmick kind of put me off before the match even began. And the match did not have the greatest of starts. Plenty of awkward or lackluster moments. **1/2"
"This match was great all the submissions were great. The way paige won was great submission looked like it hurt bad. Match was longer than expected BUT they did a great job with using there time."
[6.0] "This was a pretty decent match between the two women. They were given quite a bit of time and used it all well, the structure and pacing was good. The match spends slightly too much time in the feeling out process but thats just my opinion."
[5.0] "Perfectly fine, some fire shown here and there. I liked when it was a bit of feisty contest between Emma & Paige. Brutal finish, scorpion cross-lock tap-out was crazy. Such a violent move. Overall, a decent showing, but definitely could have exceeded to another level of ferocity."
[6.0] "This one had some good mat-based wrestling with both women showing some mean streaks. More memorable for its historical importance than anything, though Paige's unique submission to win it was pretty cool. ***"
[6.0] "The NXT Women's division was built with their feud, Paige vs. Emma was the tournament final to name the first NXT Women's Champion. I could say I liked that match better, but what I saw here was also some quality stuff. Emma stepped up to another level, showed that besides dancing and ballerinas she's at least as good a wrestler as Paige, controlled the match, got out of Paige Turner, but Paige surprised her with another finisher."
[8.0] "Wow, shocked to see so few (and relatively low) ratings for this match. This is a hell of a match as well as being particularly historically important. Great effort from both but I especially enjoyed Paige's finish and Regal's enthusiasm for the move."
[6.0] "Good match, While not a blown away bout It's crazy to ser that in 2014 it was still shocking to see women powerbombing each other, just shows out badly womens wrestling was treated in WWE before NXT."
[6.0] "The match is very different from the one played at the end of the inaugural tournament the previous year, and this is both a good and a bad thing. I really appreciated, and also preferred, the particularly aggressive and competitive attitude of the two contenders, but unfortunately, after a good initial exchange, the match starts to get slower and static due to a very long submission by Paige. Although the submissions made by Emma are more interesting, they too are too long, and do not help a match that until that moment has seen nothing but the usual repertoire of the two wrestlers. The match improves in the very heated final stages, but overall it is not up to their last match."
