Big Van Vader vs. Scott Norton

[4.0] "A pretty sluggish affair, all things considered, and certainly not the impressive kind of hoss fight that Vader is capable of. Then again, that seems more on his opponent than anything else. I know that Scott Norton is supposed to turn into a force in NJPW, or at least get over enough to be IWGP champion, but I'm sure not seeing here. It just kind of plods along through the motions of big man power spots until it ends. Meh."

[4.0] "Very dull and plodding, with Norton lying around on the mat for long periods after any kind of physical exertion. There's a fair bit of stalling, with Vader getting knocked out of the ring and milking the count. Hardly anything happens in the match at all. Norton wins with a powerslam against the momentum. Completely forgettable stuff."
