Kane vs. The Rock

[8.0] "2000 Rock was so godly that he got a good match out of Kane (Kane holds up his end of the bargain here). Your typical attitude era main event match but even before Undertaker got involved, this was very good. This was superb. There's nothing better in wrestling than a crowd that's reacting to what's going on in the ring earnestly. ***3/4"

[7.0] "(***1/2) A Damn fine tv main event that told a good story of the champ pulling out all the stops. Kane looked like a beast barely selling Rocks' offense and Rock bumped like a boss. Undertaker coming out wasn't really necessary but he added something to the match and the ending was good"

[8.0] "The false finishes in this match was so much more meaningful at that time because it was extremely rare to see anyone kick out of a finishing move from a main eventer. It was a very entertaining match where they both had a lot of chemistry. It was a really good back and forth match and then you had a ref bump and it very much looked like a template Rock booking where he got the visual pin on Kane after a people's elbow and then Kane recovered and got the Chokeslam which Rock kicked out of and you had that huge false finish where Kane kicked out and Rock looked shocked. It was an awesome moment that made Kane look like the monster he was when he first arrived! It didn't entirely make sense, but the Undertaker's interference (complete with music) was a lot of fun and The Rock tries to take advantage after Kane got a Chokeslam and he kicked out again! Rocky finally won with a second Rock Bottom, but Kane was booked so strongly in defeat here that it made the title picture look very unpredictable!"

[9.0] "These two always worked well together and this their best match together. Was fast paced, Kane looked very strong, Rock taking big bumps it moved around the ring and crowd, Undertaker music hit was perfect very rare I like interference/dirty finish but for this match it really worked, crowd was really into it throughout was exciting."

[8.0] "This was a good fast paced match. The speed made it better The best part were the near falls it made Kane look like a top guy. It could of been better but the ref has to pretend to not hear Takers music so he can run interference. However overall it's a pretty good match and a great tv main event."

[6.0] "Rock sold the beating that he took from Kane all match long, and his comeback spots as usual were on point. The near falls with all the finishers were well done, and the crowd reacted accordingly to it. ***Œ"

[7.0] "Good chemistry between the two. For a RAW match of this era the length was perfect. Undertaker comes in near the end and provides some good entertainment, Kane takes a lot of rock bottoms from The Rock to finally put him away."

[6.0] "They worked hard throughout and did a great job with the false finishes which were very skilfully done. The crowd reaction for Undertaker's interference was tremendous too. A pretty decent match overall."

[6.0] "This was the longest match of the night and it was pretty good with Rock selling the beating for most of it. I liked the nearfalls towards the end with some timely kickouts of the People's Elbow, Chokeslam, Rock Bottom and Taker's Chokeslam too. The announcers reacted to those moments well, the fans popped for the kickouts and Rock sold it on his face. Good match (***)"
