Batista & Rey Mysterio vs. Kane & The Big Show

[6.0] "Surprisingly not very long, it was good for what it was. Rey of course played face-in-peril and Batista got the comeback. The finish with Kane's brutal chokeslam on Rey was good. Just a fine match but nothing special as it was promoted. Kinda disappointing."

[9.0] "This is a match that could have flopped but honestly I kind of loved it. Mysterio and Batista have a whole lot of chemistry as a team and there's a great dichotomy between Batista doing nutty power spots to the big guys and Rey finding creative and credible ways to take the fight to them. It just works."

[5.0] "Similar to the opener, this tells a story but not one that I found overly interesting. I did think Batista had a few good spots and I do think that these four could have a good match, but I wasn't feeling this."

[5.0] "An extremely underwhelming match, but not a bad one. This was a pretty hot feud, and it did a decent job at cementing Kane and Show as a big tag team to be feared. But it felt rushed and flat. Most of the match consisted of just your basic tag team work and staple moves from the faces. It almost makes me feel like the show was running long and they wanted to make sure Taker and Orton had more than enough time so this one was cut. Nothing wrong with this one. It's still solid enough. But it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. It should have been at least a little better."

[6.0] "It really helped that the big stars were involved, as the work was really good, but with anybody else the crowd probably wouldn't care as much. Here the fans were loud, they popped for a lot of quick moves from Rey and Batista was still really over almost a year after winning the title."

[7.0] "A good match, all men were showcased in a positive way and the crowd was loud for this, I don't rate the match any higher because it was in fact short. Kane and Big Show were a really good pairing, what a tag team."

[6.0] "It was fine, surprisingly quick but was did the job in showing Kane and Big Show as a dominant tag team."

[5.0] "This one felt very short. A typical heels vs faces match with some of entertaining action, but it would have been better if they had received a little more time."

[6.0] "A decent match between 4 wrestling greats. Took a while to get going but had a decent ending with a Batista hot tag"

[6.0] "A very quick and basic tag match between these four. Not much to say except it was enjoyable. Strange to think that Mysterio ate the pin here but would be champ in a few months."

[4.0] "This was a decent tag team match that was below average. It was smart to keep it under ten minutes. The story was an obvious one with the heels working over Mysterio for most of it to set up the hot tag. Okay match (**)"
