[7.0] "This was a really good match and one of the best EVIL matches since he turned heel. That's because ZSJ gave a super compelling performance here. It was quite different seeing ZSJ work as a face given EVIL and Togo's Bullet Club antics and interference. Good start with EVIL giving ZSJ a beatdown on the floor targeting his back and taped up leg. Once EVIL starts working on top for an extended period of time he isn't very interesting, but Zack is awesome working from underneath. ZSJ's quick counters, submissions and hope spots were great. He worked over EVIL's arm in some brutal ways. The interference wasn't all that great, but it led to Zack taking out Togo and getting a flash pin over EVIL. So it all worked out in the end. ***1/2"
[6.0] "As much as I love ZSJ, I just can't handle Evil's new gimmick. With the BC, Dick Togo is everywhere and all matches are overbooked. That match isn't an exception to the rule, even if I loved ZSJ's work as the babyface of the match. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Die Konstellation mit funktioniert gut für mich. Juniors Arbeit from underneath hat Charme und bringen seine Konter gut in Stellung. Das BC Heel Work ist für mich okay und fügt sich letztendlich gut zusammen."
[7.0] "Man sieht dann deutlich, dass EVIL sich in diesen 15 Minuten Matches wohler fühlt, als bei 25-30 Minuten. Mochte das Match sehr und ich hatte den Upset zu keiner Zeit auf dem Zettel. Ich hoffe allerdings, dass es jetzt nicht in jedem Match einen Low Blow gibt. Das mag hier für die Fans vor Ort ausnahmsweise funktioniert haben aber das kann man nicht jedes Mal bringen. Allerdings sage ich das jedes Jahr (Jay White, EVIL, Tama Tonga, Bad Luck Fale, KENTA), irgendwer muss immer diesen Stil gehen."
[4.0] "I don't understand and cannot get into matches in which the referee watches 'managers' cheat, counts to '5, ' as if they're a player in this game, and then doesn't immediately order the dick to the back. I get cheating, but at least make an effort, no-matter how pathetic, to distract the ref, like DG does, yet this schlock? ! Yes, there was some good action, mostly when ZSJ was able to show-his-stuff, but it sucks nonetheless. And hearing that corporate shill Milano do his 'ZSJ' chant... well, I'm not switching to English."
[8.0] "I loved that one because of how surprising it was. Zack fighing like a babyface? Yes please! I got annoyed with the interference from Togo but the fighting back was so good it was totally worth it. A true showcase from Zach."
[6.0] "Sehr interessante Heel/Face-Dynamik, da beide ja eigentlich pure Heels sind. ZSJ spielt hier ausnahmsweise mal den guten Typen und legt eine tolle Performance hin. Evil will es sich logischerweise so einfach wie möglich machen und Nutz seine schmutzigen Tricks aus. Ganz gut aufgebaut und eines der besseren Evil-Matches, nach seiner eher schwachen Regentschaft(***1/4)."
[7.0] "This turned out to be a really good match thanks to Zack's compelling performance. He was the defacto face of the two given EVIL is apart of Bullet Club and Zack has a knee injury but he took the ball and ran with it. Some really good selling but offensively he was gripping at times. His flash pins and submissions made for an exciting and interesting match. EVIL was still listless as always and the interference wasn't all that great either. EVIL losing to Zack was a big shocker though. So EVIL wasn't that useless. ***1/4"
[5.0] "Liked the story, the clash of two competitors who are used to controlling the match with their style was interesting, but the in-ring action wasn't all that great and was pretty riddled with bullet club bs. Interesting premise, lackluster execution. **1/2+"
[8.0] "Das Match hat mich tatsächlich ein bisschen positiv überrascht und war eines der besten EVIL Matches der jüngeren Vergangenheit. Hier hat nämlich dieses typische Runterhalten des Tempos und Dominieren zu Beginn gut mit dem technischen Stil von ZSJ harmoniert. Es war ein Styles Clash aber irgendwie auch nicht. Das Heel Work von EVIL mit BC Involvierung war erwartbar aber hat zumindest gepasst und das Finish war überraschend aber nicht unsinnig. Das war kein super spektakuläres, aber in meinen Augen ein gutes Match, welches 8 Punkte verdient."
[7.0] "Suzui-Gun vs. Bullet Club ist immer merkwürdig, entweder wie bei den Juniors vor kurzen sind beide Heel und cheaten sich gegenseitig oder einer muss halt zwangsweise Face sein. Zack macht das hier tatsächlich ziemlich gut und die crowd geht am Ende gut mit. EVIL wirkt kein bisschen wie der Main Event den man im Sommer aus ihm machen wollte. ***1/2"
[5.0] "Another standard G1 Climax match, but this time, it pisses me off. Fucking God, EVIL's matches are going to follow the same fucking boring formula all the time? ! Fuck off with this stupidity, I'm tired of seeing him bumping the Referee and using dirty tactics, it's not even a hate that I feel 'cause he's a great heel, it's just because he's boring as hell. But let me say this: ZSJ winning and everyone going crazy was magnific. ***"
[8.0] "Love this match. It was a bit better than their match last year at the G1. It was excellent. It's not often that we see ZSJ playing the babyface in NJPW. He was perfect, Evil too great match between this two. Everyone has predicted that Evil was gonna win this match, Idk why but i was thinking that ZSJ could win the match and that's what happened. Evil didn't lost any credibility by loosing via a special ZSJ pinfall/Rollup"
[6.0] "EVIL was taking most of the match and we didn't see enough of ZSJ's ground work for my taste. Crowd was quite dead for this one until the snappy finish Bullet Club heel tactics don't seem to be very effective for EVIL in the pandemic-era non-vocalizing crowd."
[7.0] "This was good, I really liked the first 6 or 7 minutes. EVIL worked over ZSJs midsection and ZSJ worked over EVIL's arms. The match turned into a more back and forth and had some sluggish parts but was mostly good. ***1/4"
[7.0] "I really cannot stand another red shoes ref bump.. unnecessary. ZSJ fighting as a face was quite funny.. in the end it was a good co main event. *** 1/2"
[6.0] "Love me some ZSJ. EVIL just never really did it for me before in LIJ and definitely not in BC either, but I am willing to give it some time. It took Jay White a little time to hit his stride so hopefully EVIL will too."
[8.0] "Ein wirklich gutes Match zwischen EVIL und Zack Sabre jr. Evil dominiert erst lange durch seine Kraft, aber Zack ist am ende schlauer. Ein wenig ungewöhnlich war es schon Zack als Face zusehen."
[6.0] "It was cool seeing Sabre working basically a pure face role in a match for once, trying to overcome evil Evil and evil Evil's evil manager. Unfortunately, their styles really didn't mesh very well and it kind of looked like they were wrestling different matches entirely at times."
[9.0] "Kinda funny seeing ZSJ playing babyface but love how the commentary marks out for him. Very good match, even if you have the usual EVIL and Dick Togo shenanigans. ****1/4."
[7.0] "Good co-main for the show, good finish and most of all, a fantastic babyface showing for ZSJ, who is obviously a heel. It was surreal and quite fun. ***1/2"
