[3.0] "A lot of firsts and lasts take place in this mediocre match. It is the debut for Flash Funk, who shows some impressive moves but doesn't do enough to make his debut worth it. This is the first time on PPV Faarooq arrives with the newly forming Nation of Domination rather than the stupid gladiator gimmick that saddled him with at the start. On the flip side, this is unfortunately the final PPV appearance for Yokozuna, who didn't even legally get in the match. He was so big he could barely walk properly. It is sad to see such a legendary big man go out like he did. The in ring action...wasn't great, but it was just passable. The crowd didn't care. The fake Razor/Diesel angle was so hated, and then the massive double DQ killed anything they were building. Even the Superfly pop couldn't win this match over. Not the worst you'll find, but a pretty bad showing."

The reality is that no matter what match was in this spot it would have a hard time following the classic match before it. The match may have been cut short because it was such a shitty finish."

[2.0] "Man, this match has the worst position on this Survivor Series card, following the clinic that was Hart vs. Austin, and they don't do anything to make you care about it. While nothing is awful for its runtime, it's a total bore, and the double DQ finish for an elimination match doesn't make any sense whatsoever, ruins the entire match and pretty much makes the 10 minutes that preceded it feel like a total waste of time. Jim Cornette on commentary is really my favorite part of this match, which tells you something. Everything else falls flat."

[1.0] "It's ridiculous that this match followed Austin vs Hart. While the debut performance from Flash Funk and a decent spot from Superfly Snuka spares this match the dud rating from me, the match was appalling. Fake Diesel/Razor was characters nobody cared about and had no business whatsoever in teaming with Vader and Faarooq and I also have to say it's really sad to see Yokozuna in the ring in the shape that he was in as it just felt flat out wrong. The double DQ was ridiculous, but to be honest I don't think there was any saving this one and I has happy to see the match end!"

[3.0] "Well the finish screwed everything up. It wasn't bad up to this point - Funk looked great, it was nice to see Snuka back and Faarooq finally had a PPV match. But the Double DQ was lazy and stupid and Fake Razor with Fake Diesel stuff was just insulting."

[4.0] "I didn't mind this match at all until that dodgy finish. Flash Funk debuts here and he looks great, hitting high flying moves to the point where even Jim Cornette on comms is putting him over. Snuka is the mystery partner, and whilst I won't go into any of the stuff outside of the ring that surrounds him, he does well here and hits a mean splash."

[2.0] "Time constraints rear it's ugly head again. Jimmy Snuka is the surprise partner on the face team. This would be Yokozuna's last WWF ppv and he looked 3 times as bad as he did back in 95. 2 Cold Scorpio makes his WWF debut as Flash Funk and JR has the nerve to say the red and yellow never looked so good in the garden. Savio is the first to go off Fake Diesels Jack knife, then New Razor gets superfly splashed and pinned which pisses off Fake Diesel who hits Snuka with a chair and the whole thing falls apart for a double DQ of both teams. Total horse shit!"

[1.0] "Atrocious, and an unfortunate debut for Flash Funk (better known as 2 Cold Scorpio). It was also Yokozuna's last match for the WWF, which isn't surprising as he looked like he weighed as much as the rest of his team combined - that's genuinely not an exaggeration, he was pushing 800 pounds, and struggled to even stand on the apron. The match also featured fake Diesel and Razor, a Vader who was dropping rapidly down the card, and a way past it Snuka, and was actually worse than you might expect. It's hard to completely mess up a Survivor Series match, but they managed it here, and the ref eventually got sick of it and DQed everyone who hadn't been eliminated. A complete mess that should never have happened."
