Ivelisse vs. Thunder Rosa

[5.0] "** 1/2. This is a curiosity because Ivelisse was out to make Rosa look bad by not selling her offense (leading to some real strikes by Rosa) and refusing to take her finisher correctly. It was actually a solid match all things considered, but brought down by Ivelisse being more concerned about her hair than selling any offense."

[5.0] "Sloppier match then I would expect with these 2. The finish was clearly off. Still these two did show some good striking ability and proved that both of them are talents that AEW can build around talent wise."

[3.0] "Unprofessional Ivelisse proving yet again that some people sometimes waste any number of opportunities they receive, kudos to Thunder Rosa for being a pro."

[0.0] "A complete mess with Ivelisse doing everything in her power to drag this down. Congrats, you succeeded. One of the more unprofessional moments I've seen recently."

[6.0] "Decent level of womens wrestling match. But in AEW this is at a pretty high level since their women's division produces just a few good matches. If AEW could lift most of their womens match to this level, their women's division would be much more better. (***1/2)"

[7.0] "This was good for what if was worth. It was a bit sloppy but they did a great match and it seems we are gonna get Thunder Rosa Vs Hikaru Shida 2 ans I am all for it. Love the strikes by Ivelisse but Rosa was just captivating here just like in All Out and was definitely the better Wrestler. ***1/2"

[4.0] "This match started with an awkward "Okay, I do this and then you do your bit" exchange of overly-scripted strikes and counters, picked up a bit, and then just really dragged on the way to a botched finish (Ivelisse wouldn't position her head properly and forced Rosa to abandon her regular finisher for a tombtsone piledriver). It was okay, but at some point I just wanted it to end."

[5.0] "A little scrappy at times but seemed to get it together as the match went on. Ivelisse expressions at times were a little off but they worked hard."

[7.0] "Solid match. Ivelisse showed off her lucha experience and Rosa countered with her strikes. Never really got past a certain level and it was interesting giving this much time to two women who haven? t really been showcased much to the TNT audience. Hopefully we see more from these two ladies. Looks like a tag match is being set up."

[6.0] "Thunder Rosa looked really good here. She didn't half-ass anything, which it seems like Ivelisse is more prone to doing. ***1/4"

[9.0] "Great match, I had a blast with this one. Thunder Rosa continues to show she's a hugely valuable talent, and while it seems Ivelisse may continue to struggle to find a home I can say I always enjoy her actual wrestling ability quite a bit."

[6.0] "It was a decent match, but did not really have the feel of a title match at all. Thunder Rosa is miles better than Ivelisse in terms of workrate to the point where it looked like had to slow down at times to let Ivelisse catch up. When I saw Shida at ringside, I could smell the post-match attack and safe coming, which limited my enjoyment of the match a bit further. It may be booking 101, but it's also a bit lazy."

[6.0] "I didn't like the fact that the match was given quite a long time. it was just boring to watch at the end, but the girls showed a good match. My rating is 6/10."

[7.0] "Odd moments of non-cooperation, but when Rosa and Ivelisse were on the same page, they were very good. Rosa so far has put on the best women's matches on Dynamite, and hopefully she'll stick around beyond the NWA partnership."
