[2.0] "Wow, didn't know Cody had a match with MJF way back then. I don't remember Damien Sandow having a MITB case, Vince probably didn't either. But this match is nothing to really care about, Rhodes is much better than Sandow and the crowd likes him. But really this match is forgettable and not that much else."
[5.0] "Not a bad sprint at all. Both competitors worked with urgency to maximize the time allotted, and even when Sandow (heel) had his portion of control, he worked it at a consistent pace to keep things moving forward. How they worked their traditional heel-babyface dynamic here gave it a lot of dimension for a match this short, with Cody coming in looking for vengeance, starting the match hot, and Sandow adding a layer of targeting a body part by working the back, rendering Cody in peril for a bit, which they got a nice amount of drama out of. The touches to their work gave this a good amount of substance, a commendable 6 minutes for what they got done. **3/4"
[6.0] "match was pretty good. Cody Rhodes was great in this match and Sandow actually played a good heel. The match was just too short and it also reminds me of how Damien Sandow failed to cash in the brief case. I liked it when Cody Rhodes did the muscle buster though, havent seen that in WWE in a while."
[5.0] "Meh, the match had nothing youll remember. Is a fun match to go back and watch now we have Cody as a main eventer and universal champion. Damians character was also great to see again rewatching"
[6.0] "Nothing that's going to set the world on fire, but I thought it was good enough. It wasn't too different from a regular TV match, but the last few minutes had some excitement, and I'm partial to a simple face vs heel matchup like this. Short and to the point."
[6.0] "Because of how Cody sold betrayal on MitB, feud felt more personal. This match was not outstanding, but deserved a spot on the card of the show. Unfortunately, their rivalry did not reveal its full potential and did not last long, but Cody's small triumph at SummerSlam was a pleasant moment. 6 points."
