[8.0] "Their best match by a country mile, they wrestle the piss out of each other & there's a weird finish to it but I liked it conceptually."

[10.0] "Bret Hart was in Dynamite Kid's corner. Dynamite and Tiger Mask once again showed their tremendous ability. This match was arguably a bit better than their previous three singles matches against each other, but not quite as great as their best two singles matches in their series of matches (8/5/82 and 4/21/83). The DQ ending was certainly a disappointment, but other than that, this was a great match."

[7.0] "Too many holds for my taste, but plenty of athleticism as well. Definitely a lot of technically sound wrestling in this match aside from one obvious botch. The ending is just dumb, though. Not as good as the previous match."

The work is phenomenal besides one slight botch. Really the only thing hindering the match is the interference of one Bret Hart and a shady ending. Otherwise, this match did a lot to build the intensity of this rivalry. ****1/4-****1/2"

[6.0] "One of the more disappointing matches in this legendary rivalry, but still with a lot of quality wrestling packed in. The start was a very slow hold segment that was relatively short but it felt too long for these 2 masters to be held back. Luckily Tiger Mask shortly revved into action, and from that point both guys were running through their 'best of' moments. Now, it's always a treat to watch such amazing wrestling in their prime, and I LOVE their routine, but it felt a bit hollow seeing them run through all the spots and sequences that they've done a bunch of times before. If it's not broken don't try to fix it, but I would have liked a little more creativity in the structure or the general exchanges, because this ended up feeling like a carbon copy of their other very good matches... but with the added negative of that finish. Man, I have no clue what they were going for there. I liked Bret Hart interfering to help Dynamite reach the ropes, but then Bret's interference angle went on for far too long, and then Tiger Mask hit a dive on the both of them, but somehow Dynamite came out on top, and then Tiger Mask propelled Dynamite over the rail directly into the audience members, and then the bell was rung and Dynamite somehow won the match. Cagematch lists this as a count-out victory for Dynamite, but that cant be the case, since both Dynamite and Tiger Mask were outside the ring for the same amount of time, and the bell was rung while they were both still outside. It seems more likely that Dynamite somehow won by DQ, but that doesn't make much sense either, since it was his cornerman, Bret, who interfered. Maybe the ref was punishing Tiger Mask for flipping Dynamite into the crowd, since I could imagine that being dangerous. Anyways, we got a sour finish to an otherwise solid, if uncreative match. And if Dynamite was to get a win over Tiger Mask then he deserved a proper one, not the cheap interference-ladened, only-on-paper victory that he got. ***1/4"

[7.0] "Thought it was slightly worse than their last match. Some unispring exchanges, botches (when DK was supposed to be dropkicked outside the ring) and a shitty ending are the weak points of the match. On the other side some breathtaking athleticism."
