Beth's incredible hometown reaction also makes this match feel more special. You can tell they're really trying to make this match shine for the short time they had. My problem, however, is that Kelly's wins over Beth don't feel convincing. Now, I think it's smart for Kelly to win using quick pins, as she obviously isn't overpowering Beth, but neither this pin nor the one at Summerslam look convincing. In fact, if you watch the final cover here, it looks like Beth had to deliberately try and keep her shoulders on the mat, because Kelly didn't have enough of her rolled up. Kelly needed to get deeper into the pins, or at least have these pins come after Beth was more worn down to be convincing. A solid match, but just not a believable one in my opinion. |

I didn't mind the ending, that roll up by Kelly was so smooth and well done. I'm quite enjoying Beth vs. Kelly matches, as Beth brought the best out of Kelly. **3/4 |

| 37 | 12.09.2020 | AndoCommando | 5.0 | After a dire feud with the Bella Twins that nobody wants to remember, Kelly Kelly was able to work with Beth Phoenix and managed to churn out some respectable performances in the short amount of time they were given. At Night of Champions 2011, she came out to a chorus of boos as the Buffalo crowd was firmly behind the challenger. Kelly Kelly gets a lot of hate for some of the gaping flaws in her work and some of it can be seen here with how she hits the ropes, but she does contrast very well against someone clearly more powerful than her, able to take Beth by surprise with her speed and agility. She does a few Hurricanranas and Backflips, although it doesn't sway the audience one bit, cheering once Beth is in control and tries humiliating the former model. We even see a top-rope Superplex, a novelty to see from women around this era. There's some interference in the middle of the match that doesn't factor into anything here, as well as an anticlimactic finish that almost diminishes the Superplex spot, but I thought Kelly came away from this looking more like a champion than what her reputation paints her out to be. **3/4 |
