[6.0] "The cell stipulation felt unnecessary and unneeded. We are also in prime PG era so this isn't violent or bloody like the Cell matches of old. Outside of these criticisms, this is still lacking when compared to the match these two had at the previous PPV. The pace is a lot slower and we spend a lot of time seeing Orton get squeezed in a bearhug. This feels like a long match, even though it is just shy of the 16 minute mark. They don't do anything interesting with the cell until Orton uses it to escape a World Strongest Slam attempt. This cool spot is where the match gets interesting as Orton makes his comeback. Orton really sells his disbelief when Henry kicks out of an RKO. We get yet another great finish from these two as Henry counters a punt kick attempt in smooth fashion, and lays out Orton with a World's Strongest Slam."
[8.0] "Legitimately great and better than Henry's title win at Night of Champions. He again destroys Orton much of the way, but this time Orton uses the cell to counter the WSS and launch a comeback. But Henry is an absolute monster and counters the RKO to finish him. Really strong match and there was still a ton of mileage in Henry."
[6.0] "This match was about on point with the match the prior month. It has a very different feel and energy from the previous match, which I enjoyed. This time, Henry sells a lot more and gives Randy a ton more offense. He's not just an invincible monster here and shows some desperation. They also involve the cell a lot more than many modern HIAC matches do, so that's appreciated. Henry's offense just remains a bit too sluggish, and the bearhug right in the middle of the match went on for far too long and grinded the momentum it had to a halt. Still, Henry looked even better here, and Orton being able to take more of the match only elevated it further. A good match for certain, but maybe a bit of a let down when looking at the history of HIAC matches."
[5.0] "A very "meh" Hell in a Cell match. Orton and Henry fight with a good dose of intensity but for the majority of time it looked like a normal match with the skin of the Hell in a Cell. There are some cool moments throughout the match but as I said it was a meh match"
[7.0] "This was better than I expected to be. The pacing overall was nice, even though it dragged during the middle before Orton did his comeback. It loses points because it wasn't as brutal as hiac matches from that came before and after it."
[7.0] "A good match. The comments that the cage wasn't needed here, in my opinion, don't correspond to reality, because they really revealed its capabilities well, and Mark Henry's intelligence was very well demonstrated here, as was Randy Orton, who beat the big guy in his own manner. The match looked like a trap for Orton, he was in a confined space with a really dangerous person, and every moment that could change the situation felt important, and the reaction of the audience confirmed this. I liked it 11 years ago, and I like it now. No worse than their previous match. The post-match segment is cool (***1/2)."
[6.0] "This was pretty good. These two worked well together in spite of the needless HIAC stipulation, and they produced a good match here. A step below their NOC bout where Henry won the title. [***]"
