[10.0] "Just key into the crowd reaction and you can see how damn hot this feud was, and the action is fit to match the energy of the crowd. Choshu becomes a bloody mess in this one and for once he truly seems on the defensive, and his interactions with Tenryu once again is totally killer. Fantastic tag match."

[5.0] "The contemporaneous broadcast clipped out the first four minutes of this match, but to its credit that still gives us a good nine minutes of AJPW/Ishingun action which includes the Tenryu/Choshu matchup. As I've said before, this has consistently been the best thing to come out of AJPW in 1985. This is a minor entry in that, but it's still an entry. Their stuff is good, and Ishikawa continues to shine in this faction rivalry through his contributions; it's always fun to see him troll Choshu with his own signature moves. Choshu gets busted open early on here, so we get to see him in peril early on to an extent that I don't think we've seen in this feud before. That definitely makes this match fairly interesting. Great moment later where Tenryu evades a rebound lariat with a forward roll, only to get hit with the second attempt as he's recovering. We end in no contest when Animal grabs the recovering referee as he's reentering the ring to try to separate the non-legal men from each other. In its extant state, I'd give this a **3/4 or thereabouts. Definitely not bad, though."
