[9.0] "Magical stuff really, throwing a 55-year-old Giant Baba into this mix for 30 minutes and somehow producing a barnburner. It's not like Baba hides away on the apron either - he's in there surviving suplexes, elbows, face locks, a rolling cradle and even a damn moonsault. The crowd is in seventh heaven, relishing the rare opportunity to cheer on Hansen and to boo the SGA lads for their dishonorable shortcuts. It doesn't really crescendo towards the time limit, but the ride is pure joy ****1/2"
[6.0] "A 30-minute time limit draw with a 50-plus-year-old Baba somehow ended up being pretty good. Baba himself was obviously broken down, but it was charming seeing him do his best to execute his signature offence, and Kobashi and Misawa sold it as best as they could. The real appeal of this match was seeing Hansen's interactions with Kobashi and Misawa, since those 3 worked quite well to deliver their usual impactful offence (meaning a lot of great strikes were traded back and forth) and get a few convincing near falls. They also thankfully didn't just work at a middling pace for 20 minutes before only turning things up for the final 10, since the crowd was already popping for their spots and exchanges after only 10 or so minutes, reflecting the wrestlers' work rate and creativity. The final few minutes made for a decent closing stretch, though the very final minute was quite anticlimactic, with all 4 men doing literally nothing and just standing/lying around before the bell finally rang out. ***1/4"
[9.0] "Baba was beaten up and not very mobile, but his presence alone brings something special to this match, and dammit he does the best he can to make the young guys look great. He gets some fire in him toward the end to build a solid and surprising ending. ****1/4"
[8.0] "Ein Riesenhaufen Spaß. Die Crowd liebte jede Sekunde dieses Matches aber vor allem Baba und Hansen. Baba wurde genau richtig eingesetzt. Er zeigt ein paar seiner Moves, wird ein paar Mal wie ein großer Baum gefällt und den Rest trägt Hansen, der den jungen Stars ganz schön einschenkt. Kobashi scheint 95% des Matches der legale Mann zu sein. Nicht das Misawa nicht seine übliche Qualität bringt, aber dieses Match schien dafür gemacht zu sein, Kobashi gegen die alten Haudegen glänzen zu lassen. Das einzige was an diesem Match ein bisschen stört ist der Time Limit Draw. Ich weiß, dass ein Round Robin Turnier zu booken wirklich stressig sein muss, aber ich hatte das Gefühl man hätte hier Misawa und Kobashi over gehen lassen sollen. Baba ist ein Relikt der Vergangenheit und Hansen, obwohl er immer noch ein Top Player ist, had bereits eine Niederlage gegen Misawa und fast sogar gegen Kobashi einstecken müssen. Außerdem sind Misawa und Kobashi die neuen Topstars und sollten in so einer Situation auch als solche präsentiert werden. Naja es war trotzdem sehr gut. ****"
