Mankind & Steve Austin vs. Paul Wight & The Rock

[8.0] "Any time The Rock was going against either of these guys the crowd was just molten hot for it and most of the time, he was carrying the work rate here. Big Show's booking here is actually quite interesting and while he does slow the pacing of the match down when he was in, I have to say it looked impressive the way he was throwing Mankind about easily like he was a cruiserweight. Everything he does is all focused on Mankind as he doesn't have a lot of interactions with Austin. It gets very chaotic at the end where the match is thrown out presumably because the referee can't control the action and Austin dominates The Rock on the outside, but Big Show continues to focus on Foley and doesn't stop him! While the way the match ended so suddenly was a little disappointing, the storytelling leading up to Wrestlemania made up for it here."

[7.0] "The match was a fun match, Rock, Austin & Mankind were great, Wight lets this down for me, but did exactly as it needed to do hype for the upcoming Mania, just a shame about the ending. ***1/2"

[8.0] "This was an amazing tag team match, could've been better if Big Show ain't slow it down so much when he was in. Austin and Mankind had good tag team work in the beginning on Rock and it's extremely fast paced, crowd went nuts for Austin hot tag at the end and anytime Rock and Austin faced off.***3/4"

[5.0] "The crowd is really hot for the face team. This is a basic tag team, a preview for the upcoming WrestleMania 15."

[8.0] "Excellent chaotic tag match here, everyone has their clear characters and goals in mind and they play the match just the right way. No finish but in a realistic and crowd pleasing way. Very good stuff."

[6.0] "I mean, the action was fine enough even though nothing really special. There was no ending, inexplicably the four men were battling outside the ring when Stone Cold theme starts playing and the episode just finishes."

[7.0] "Good TV tag with a hot crowd. Could have been a legit awesome match had Big Show not dragged things down with his offense, which was not only slow but just looked really lame for someone supposed to be a giant. An actual finish other than just going off the air could have helped too."
