[10.0] "AJPW against Choshu's group continues and now Masa Saito is here to be an absolute beast as well, loved him squaring off with Jumbo in particular. I thought this was killer stuff, it's very fun to really dig into this feud."
[5.0] "Tenryu's return and Saito's AJPW debut highlight this six-man tag. While solid and featuring contributions from all, the match lacks the spark of other AJPW vs. Ishin Gundan bouts. The slower pace and lack of sustained intensity prevent it from reaching the level of their more memorable encounters. A count-out finish and post-match brawl advance the Kokusai Ketsumeigun feud. Entertaining, but ultimately forgettable. 2.75 stars"
[6.0] "After having missed the previous AJPW TV episode's AJPW/Ishingun six-man due to injury, Tenryu is back to play out his already really good dynamic against Choshu. This six-man also switches things up by being the AJPW televised debut of Ishingun member Masa Saito. (Interesting note: Jumbo and Saito actually did face each other once before, in an interpromotional six-man tag from 1979 on the same event as the last B-I Cannon match. ) On one hand, the lack of a lighter opponent on the Ishingun end makes Ishikawa's inclusion a bit asymmetrical, and while things are still worked at a fairly fast pace this is probably my least favorite of the AJPW/Ishingun six-mans yet. However, the work between everyone is good enough for me to still rate this a *** at the end of the day. Choshu lariats Ishikawa out of the ring to win by countout and then start a brawl with Choshu. Great postmatch stuff too, with Rusher Kimura cutting a promo that reminds us that the (much less interesting, but still) AJPW/Kokusai Ketsumeigun feud is still going on, and the Choshu/Tenryu brawl resuming."
