[4.0] "Like most CWC first round matchups, this suffered from a lack of time. Slater sold the offence of Tajiri decently but he did not get much space to show off his own offence and what we did see seemed to do little to his opponent, which led to this feeling a bit disjointed. Tajiri gets the win with the Buzzsaw Kick, this was fine but nothing special or exciting."
[8.0] "Great for what it was. A reintroduction to Tajiri and a small introduction for Slater. Slater could have had more offense, and the match could have been a bit longer. But it perfectly showcased and reintroduced the crowd to Tajiri's moves and the pace he wrestles at now after years away, while making him still look like a threat."
[6.0] "Never seen Tajiri or Slater before and they both put on a solid though brief opening match, I had fun with this one and need to see more of Tajiri!"
[5.0] "Slater looked smooth enough but this was too short for him to really communicate much of himself. Pretty much just a nostalgic reintroduction of Tajiri."
[4.0] "**¼ - this should and could have been longer and it would be better rated. It's way too short. Although nostalgic and awesome to see Tajiri, its just his signatures really with some aussie dude over the course of 5 mins. Expected more I guess"
[9.0] "I recall this being a great match actually, admittedly I'm a big Tajiri guy but it was very nice to see him mix it up in a WWE ring and show that he still had a lot of gas in the tank, and Slater did well for himself too."
[6.0] "I thought Slater actually looked quite good here and he held up against the veteran TAJIRI. 50% of this match was mainly for TAJIRI to get his signatures in for nostalgia and pop the crowd"
